We charge $2450 for the Z1 turbo install, but u will also need supporting mods if u don’t already have them, like the HPFP, injectors, LPFP, heat exchanger, downpipes, exhaust, etc. Shoot us an email at [email protected] about this and we can answer any of ur questions about a setup like this in detail!

This car absolutely moves tho for a 4k lbs car, running 9s 1/4 mile on the street with just downpipes, E50 and stock turbos. I would also go test drive one if u haven’t driven a G8X, they actually feel very nimble for the weight!
Almost all sports cars are Close to the 4K lb weight. Just today’s build standards.

We actually tune them! On EcuTek and Cobb depending on the setup. We don’t really advertise it since we try to focus on the VR30, B58 and S58, but Hussain does a bunch of Audi/VW tuning!
How far into tune do you guys go as in turbo upgrades and stuff like that
The last one we did was a MK7.5 Golf R with a full frame turbo and port injection, tuned on EcuTek making right at 500whp on a conservative tune, the customer didn’t want a TCM tune atm so no point turning it up 😭

We’re very excited about that too! With the close ratio ZF8 trans, shifting at 7k rpm means we’ll be in that 850+whp power band thru the whole pull! This thing is gonna be wild, gotta tidy up a few things on it and take it out.

Which tuner should I buy on your sight if I want to hear the pops
Always wanted to get into the vr30s and you guys are making great power on stock stuff. Early on I heard a lot of horror stories with engine failures, has that been remedied with aftermarket parts or more refined tuning? Read in the comments that you guys are limiting low end torque which is the same thing done on my stock engine mqb. Just curious on the platform before I make the switch
Dyno inflators. Stop using STD correction and show real whp numbers with SAE. Bullshit.

you fix the biggest issue on a open filter setup by having the hood open i know you did your best but this wasnt any valid testing for many reasons best to run all these intake on the factory tune , then 18psi base map for all intake with the hood closed so that way we would have 2 results best plug and play oem style filter and best filter for higher boost
Chase those dyno numbers because the internet says ur not making what it should throw and smaller tire to make 1000

Nah its dont floor it at 3k rpm without down shifting. Its a turbo car thing, dont want to get the engine under lots of load with lots of boost low in the RPM range. If you have a stock setup though its not a problem. Mostly just for NA+T guys like me
If you flow it at 3k rpm you are lugging the engine.
600ftlb of torque on an unopened block. WTH Nissan?! You can add even more air, fuel, cooling, and better headers. Stretch the 600ftlb to 7000rpm with a boost controller. That's an 800whp capable stock engine.
Unfortunately the VR30 head design doesn’t flow that well, the exhaust manifold is built into the head (turbos bolt straight up to the head), which restricts us. When it comes to fueling, we’re very limited in what we can do with the DI system, about to install an AMS dual LPFP to help. Port injection is available, but atm not integrated in EcuTek (like B58s) and we’re not a fan of the smoothness of batch firing PI injectors. Trying to push the most out of these cars with all the limitations and lack of aftermarket support is definitely a challenge we have been facing for years.
how much power can these make before its unreliable??
We like to keep it at low to mid 700 whp and right around 600wtq. We have done the most Z1 turbo cars, and they’ve all been running strong since these turbos released with proper setups and maintenance. The ones that run into issues would have run into the same issues on stock turbos, caused by other parts failure or negligence.
Let's see some draggy times at night to get some baseline. Hoping at over 600 torque it holds together.

Then that kind of ruins the whole point of the dumps: to be as light as possible with the least amount of restrictions. If we want a less atrocious exhaust note, we would put our catback exhaust back on lol. This car is not a daily and in this stage of the build, is meant to extract the maximum amount of performance out of the stock engine/trans and as a track car.

For our purposes, not needed for the few seconds it’s going to run down a drag strip. The stock oil cooler is more than adequate for the task.

For the new Z, this is probably it at the moment. For VR30s overall, we have done right over 800whp and multiple others in the mid to high 700s all on the stock engine and trans! Utilizing Z1 and other full frame turbo setups.

For a completely stock car that want to do this, it’s about $15k in parts, and ~$20k total for install labor and tuning. For already modded cars it can be a lot cheaper, because a lot of bolt on parts carry over. i so wish nissan/infiniti made inline-6 instead of v6. its just so hard to make the v6 sound good in my opinion. my '18 Nismo 370z sounds ok, but itll never sound as good as a Toyota or BMW inline-6.

It’s mostly due to the fact that it’s an integrated exhaust. If it had open headers it should sound exactly like a GTR

Absolutely zero issues with the ball bearing versions! Every one of our customers that upgraded to ball bearings or started with them, have had no complaints and all made great power.
