That team should been playing at home in the NFC championship, but the Giants played with a lot more heart and didn't turn it over. Hell most of their secondary was injured and STILL won. But in the end, Patrick Crayton cost the Cowboys on a 3rd down play where he dropped the ball and there was no one around him in the 3rd quarter. That changed the entire game.

Parcells took a team didn't have a lot of talent and got the most out of them in 2003. A team that was 5-11 and got them 10-6. Got slackers who barely put in the effort and got again the most out of them. This is why Parcells is in the hall of fame. He took terrible teams like the Giants, Patriots, Jets, and Cowboys who were the season before a terrible team and it took a year or two, but got them to the playoffs.

Maybe the most fun season since Super Bowl XXX (at least tied with '07). F Aaron Rodgers, man.

I stopped the video at 01:37:29. Cowboys won and went on to obtain Lombardi trophy number 6...the first of many for Dak and Zeke.

Simple formula, first round picks on the o-line, develop decent qb, 3rd round back, great receiver and solid defense.

I wish he would have thrown or pitched the ball after recovering the fumble, that would have epic, we’ll take a 40 yard scramble for a 1st down tho

If Romo could have stayed healthy, he would have finally gotten over the hump, in 2016. This season is so hard to watch, and they should have given Romo nod, instead of Dak.

I love Romo but he had plenty of help more often than he didn't. Always had really good receivers and running backs and always had Witten. Championship defenses.... not as much. But there were a few seasons of VERY good defenses. Not of lined up in the playoffs though.

Romo had just entered his prime and then it was cut short by a bad call and injury the next year and the year after. So sad. If only he had gotten a couple more years especially with that 2016 squad

Thanks so much! No, unfortunately I never recorded anything before 2000. These were games I had recorded off of TV and then edited down to 1 VHS. Then when DVD recorders came out, I transferred them to DVDs. So yeah, the quality is pretty terrible. Haha. But I work at a shop where we transfer VHS and Beta to DVD and flash drive so occasionally I'll run across an old Cowboys game and try to find a clip to post, but that's kinda rare.

Thanks for these awesome highlights for one of my favorite Cowboys teams coached by Parcels. Glenn, Galloway, Bryant, Witten were some serious weapons. Parcells squeezed every ounce out of this squad. The special teams esp were a big factor across all these highlights. That is the sign of a well disciplined and coached team. I forgot how much he stuck to the run to set up the play action deep balls which Quincy thrived in so well. Literally every pass was play action. Dak is also much better in play action than just slinging it from the shotgun.

Dallas need to get back this type of BALANCED offense to have success. Start with the offensive line, then get a quality "bell cow" running back" and you have enough receivers to allow Dak to play they way he used to; pass when you want to, RUN WHEN YOU NEED TO!

Quarterbacks under center, running backs taking 20+ carries, defenders that actually tackled, special teams making a difference, physicality being celebrated! Man these were the days when American football was still played the way it was intended to be played, hard, physical, and with relentless effort. Then Roger Goddell came along. Now the game barely resembles what it once was. Watching old films like these makes me happy and sad at the same time.
