how do i download the Soundpaint 1928 Steinway Piano
Hi there, just need to click the link in the video description and it will take you straight to the download page
That soundpaint piano sounds amazing! I can tell even just listening through a cheap bluetooth speaker
Hi Shan yes it’s a really great vst, if you have Kontakt you can also get the 8dio version which is even better in my opinion 👍
@@fasttrackkeys can it be used in Reaper tho?
Soundpaint can be used in reaper yes I believe so, it works in all DAWs I believe, as for the 8dio one yes it should work but for that one you need the full version of native instruments Kontakt 👍 the soundpaint one is good enough though, still a great freebie
be aware: most of good free plugins come with bloatware!
👍soundpaint is legit, it’s made by the creators of 8dio sample libraries
your playing is absolutely beautiful.
Thank you very much!
You don't mention anywhere how much your course costs. Is booking that call with you truly the only way to know what this particular training costs?
Hi Andy are you referring to the end of the free workshop? The main reason for the call is that it’s nearly at full capacity and the programme is invite only, the call allows us to see if it’s the right fit for you whilst making a free plan for your music goals but if you really want to know the price there are a couple of different versions of the programme, the 90 day core coaching programme starts at £997
@@fasttrackkeys Hey. Yes, that's what I was referring to. No matter how much I like someone's content, I get pretty vary if I see I'm being sold something but the price isn't ever mentioned and I don't get any proper info and outline about the service/product and/or I can't find reviews, honest discussions about it anywhere (this being a smallish boutique operation would explain that). Anyway, now you gave a reference point against which it's easier to evaluate one aspect of it. Thank you. Do you also plan to outline the coaching plan and different versions on your website? You could still emphasize that it's an invite only coaching plan. You probably understand where I'm going with this as this is the internet after all. I do also get why you wouldn't feel the need to make what you're offering more transparent if your hands are full anyway right now. Anyway, thanks for giving that piece of info.
Hi Andy, ah yes totally get where you are coming from. Yes the KZread channel launched 1 year ago, so it is a fairly boutique setup currently, but as it continues to grow at a pretty fast rate there will be an online course coming and also an app in development too. The coaching programme is customised to each individual student and their specific music production goals…so way more personalised than any online course, there is the system that you follow but everyone will fit it slightly differently depending on experience and also genre etc and it is taught through weekly online video calls and DAW sessions. So that’s the main reason as well for the accelerator call first to outline a plan and hear more about your goals with your music and create a custom roadmap for free for you… And then as I said in the workshop, if it seems like a good fit then I may offer the programme, but I don’t offer it to everyone…. This helps keep everything super streamlined so you can have the one-one help every step of the way… Hope that makes it clearer 👍 What genre of music do you currently produce? Would be great to hear some of your work if you have any links? I’m a trailer music composer, so if you’d like to hear some of the music I’ve written professionally for trailers tv and ads you can check out my composer site if you like www.michaelemmersonmusic.com Cheers
Hey I checked your website, how much does the full 90days course cost in total?
Hey Tom, thanks for reaching out, great stuff! It’s £997 for the 90 day core version where you get one-one training with myself via zoom and there is also an elite version that comes with a weekly group DAW session too to help with implementing into your own music. Have you watched through the free workshop? Cheers
@@fasttrackkeys Yes I watched the workshop, that's how I knew this stuff is legit! I'll most likely start the course some time next month, looking forward. Thanks for your response, cheers!
@TomBricks310 hey Tom great stuff! Would be great to have you aboard 👍🎹 the programme is invite only so the way it usually works is you get a free call with me first so we can discuss your goals and music production etc..and then from there if it seems like a good fit we can see which coaching package you would prefer. You can see what times I have available if you’d like to book in your free 1-1 session with me here www.fasttrackkeys.com/call , look forward to speaking with you about your music goals 👊
Hi sir, I've just download the 1928 Piano sound. How can I add thiss sound to garageband?
Hi there, that’s great, you just need to select soundpaint as a software instrument in GarageBand. If you get stuck try searching ‘how to add software instrument in GarageBand’
What piano software are you using to display you midi keys ?
Hello there, it’s called MIDICULOUS 4.0, and then I’m using ECamm live to add it to the bottom portion of my screen with Logic Pro X above it 👍🎹
Can it be used on any audio recording software?
Hi there yes it can be used in any recording software such as Logic Pro X, Cubase, Ableton, Fl Studio and more. If you go to soundpaint.com it will tell you all of the compatible DAWs 👍
can you make a tutorial on how to download these plug-ins because I tried to download both of them and they did not show up in logic. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
Oh okay did you check out the soundpaint tutorials on their KZread channel?
what about if connect my guitar? works with audio signals?
Hello, it won’t work with guitar I’m afraid as it only works with MIDI, unless you have a midi guitar, or it does have sample features in it. To record your guitar you are better off just plugging into an audio interface, you can find my top picks in my free music maker toolkit here if you like www.fasttrackkeys.com/toolkit , cheers
i downloded the win version, but when i extracted it it says macosx, why?
Ah really, no idea, soundpaint have really good support on their website so maybe try there to get installation advice 👍
please tell me how to download and import this piano sound to soundpaint please
Hi there, you just need to download the installer from their website, install the piano using the soundpaint installer and then it should show up under the sounds under piano
@@fasttrackkeys yes i download but its downloading only software in software also i look for piano sound but its didn't show i dont know ,what happen can you make video on this please sir please i need your help very much sir please make video on its please
Ah okay, you are best getting in touch with soundpaint’s support on their website 👍 as it depends what computer you have and DAW you are using etc
@@fasttrackkeys i dont know actually use it if u have time soo pls can u make video on it , its will help me a lot, thanks
I don’t currently have time to shoot a video on it as I’m making music for trailers right now, but if you go on the soundpaint KZread channel they have tutorials on how to set it all up, just search soundpaint set up 👍
So happy I found this, Very helpful! I have everything set up but I was wondering what specific settings and such do I need to do so that my SoundPaint sounds as nice as yours, Thank you!
Thanks glad you found it helpful, is there a specific sound on the video that you liked or was it just the main piano sound? Cheers
@@fasttrackkeys i loved the first piano sound the most!
Ah okay that’s the main 2mic sound in soundpaint. The real key though is being able to play it well with your midi keyboard and sustain pedal etc. I have a brand new free piano workshop for producers and songwriters here if you’d like to check it out www.fasttrackkeys.com it goes through the basics and how to learn fast, cheers
@@fasttrackkeys Awesome! Thank you so much!
Hello, please where can we get pads for MIDI? I use Waveform free
Hi there, you could try search spitfire audio labs. They have a variety of free pads and lots of VST plug ins 🎹👍
Or you could cancel it out with the Recording Delay slider underneath. As you say, get as far as you can with the ‘happy medium’ process. If you’re still not happy you can slide the recording delay into the negative range to counteract the buffer size amount.
Great point yes you can of course slide the recording delay to offset any latency you’re still getting, but as a keyboard player when I’m recording I always want to feel like instrument I’m playing is reacting like it would on a real piano or synth for example with no audible latency so I can record as if I’m playing a real piano, or the closest thing to that as possible 👍 thanks for the comment
To everyone going to download, here's one thing you need to know that, this plugin will cost you 6 GB space on your pc
For sure, that’s pretty light for a piano library to be honest! A lot of them are over 25GB 👍
@@fasttrackkeys Oh didn't knew that! Thanks for the info, I'm new to all this haha
No worries glad to help, if you would like, I have a brand new free piano workshop for producers you can sign up for on my website www.fasttrackkeys.com let me know if you need any more help 👍 cheers, Michael
@@fasttrackkeys Hey, thanks a lot for that!
What strings or pad sound is on the background?
Hi, which point in the video is it that you are hearing it? It could be baked in to one of the soundpaint piano presets
Soundpaint is incredible, thanks for the video!
It really is, the paid instruments on their site too are amazing! And really affordable too, cheers
Too many pianos Including spitfire piano sound like a wooly sock which are awful in a mix. So out of the two I would pick sound paint here. Best ones i've played are not free. You get what you pay for...some of the time.
Woolly sock! Haha that’s amazing 😂 I know what you mean, the best piano vst I’ve played is actually the 8dio emotional 1928 Steinway for Kontakt, you use to have to pay for it but they now recently offer it for free so worth checking out. I use it in all my projects 👍
@fasttrackkeys It all depends what sound you are going for. I have the 8dio steinway it is good. My current search is trying to find a bechstein that sounds like the 100 year-old Bechstein that Elton John played at Trident studios on his early albums. The piano was made famous by the Beatles, Bowie etc, but it has a certain tone on the Elton albums I love. Would be great if vst manufacturers came out with classic pianos like this. Could call it 70's Album pianos. I think there is a niche market for such a thing. I would buy it. 👍
Wow yes that definitely is a niche piano, I know East West Pianos have a Bechstein but I wasn’t that impressed with it to be honest, and it is a really old library now.
how selected a sound in soundpaint ?
Hi there, you can just go to programs and then if you have installed correctly you should see under piano in the left hand menu, you just double click the program you want to load, for example ‘’main 2 mic” hope that helps
8 gig. Yikes.
Yeah that’s pretty light for a high quality piano library, I’ve got some that are over 40GB 🤣
@@fasttrackkeys Oh. It must be samples then. There are "modeled" VST's that are pretty lightweight.
Yeah some of the Arturia stuff is like that pretty light on the GB, what genre do you create currently?
@@fasttrackkeys It's called "Blue Eyed Soul." (Steely Dan, Hall & Oats, Michael McDonald type sounds etc.)
Oh niice that’s sounds cool! Is that mainly guitar based or do you use a lot of keyboard/piano as well? I love a good blues jam on keys haha
double are perfect.
🎹👍
This guy is the definition of broducer, thanks brother!❤
Thanks man much appreciated!
remove plugins from master track........ works
TY:))
You are very welcome 👍
Thnxs I download it immediately 👍🏼
You are very welcome 😊
Subscribed fam keep on the good work
Thanks for the sub
@@fasttrackkeys ya welcome
none of the free links are working too bad
Hey man I’ve just checked them all and can confirm they are all working, so maybe try clicking them again 👍🎹
Edit: This issue was recently fixed :D Hey! Just wanted to mention a potential issue with the soundpaint piano: it is limited to 64 voices of polyphony which can quickly become problematic when playing more complicated things with the sustain pedal as notes start muting themselves after reaching that limit. It's probably not a problem for most but for me it is sadly a deal breaker.
Hey there, oh cool thanks for pointing that out, I had no idea about that…although I would never finding myself playing anywhere near 64 voices at a time..as I write multi track arrangements 👍
@@fasttrackkeys Well.... as it turns out I was wrong. This was probably a recent update and now you actually can set the limit much higher up to like 100k or something! (also the default is still 64)
@svxMusic oh nice thank you for updating on here. What kind of music do you produce?
@@fasttrackkeysI'm mostly a jazz pianist with a background in classical music. In terms of production i mostly produce classical, jazz but also electronic/pop
@svxMusic oh nice that’s great man! I produce mostly trailer music and cinematic music for publishers
how can i use the sounds with ableton
Hi Amir, you just download the soundpaint engine from their site, plus the free piano vst… and then you can open it as a software instrument inside Ableton just like you would load any other sound 👍
Wow,,, It sounds so good. I downloaded and I would rate it 9.5 out of 10
Yeah it’s definitely a nice one isn’t it, glad you’re enjoying it 👍
Thank you❤
You are very welcome 👍🎹
My goodness! i want to learn to play like this 1:41
Thanks for the kind words, I’ve created is a full 3 step system that producers and songwriters around the world are using if you want to check it out here 🎹👍www.fasttrackkeys.com/threesecrets
the lowest latency I can get is 203ms. what should I do?
Hi Charlie, oh wow that’s a long latency, are you using Bluetooth headphones by any chance?
quite sad. but soundspot is down w their service atm. I cant get my vst validated. Even made a 2nd acc. but it still gives me the "login rejected" or smth like that. Imma have to search smth else to let my friend play piano on my DAW .... Sad, was hella excited for this
soundpaint.com/collections/free-instruments hey man try this link, you can download the free piano from here, I’ve just been on their site it’s working fine 👍🎹
One of the peeps i think should be on par with KSHMR when it comes to fame. lol. Good on you for this vid. THanks for being so representative. Looks very good on you <3 Have fun!
Absolutely heart touched playing ❤ Great sir I'm following your videos ❤❤❤ very usefulness ❤❤❤ God bless you sir...Srish from Srilanka ❤
Thanks for your kind words, yes I’ll be posting brand new videos in January. Merry Christmas
how to record using this?
Hello, you just load it up as a plug in inside your DAW and then got record 👍 and then just use your MIDI keyboard with it if you have one
Yes I am very interested to see how you made this in your daw step by step. I hope to see a video tutorial from you soon. excellent work.
Thanks John, yes I’m looking at doing more breakdowns in the new year so I’ll add this one to the list for you, do you produce music yourself? Cheers
Best review I’ve seen 😫😫
Thanks for the kind words Alvin 👊
Having seen a load of your videos, you're an amazing teacher! And you created a song in 14 minutes that made feel things. That tune is beautiful!
Hi Andy, thanks for your kind words, I’m really glad you have been liking the videos, do you produce music yourself? Cheers
Legendary !
Thanks glad you enjoyed the video 👍🎹
This was amazing. I don't have a piano, nor a midi keyboard, but I have enjoyed listening to this.
Thank you glad you enjoyed it, do you produce music? Cheers
Found this very helpful thank you! ☺
You are very welcome glad you found it helpful 👍
The Steinway 1928 piano sound is absolutely amazing! I'm a piano player myself, and I've been looking for Piano vst's like this for a while. Thanks for making this informative video for us!🙏🙏
Great to hear how long have you been playing? If you have full version of Kontakt the 8dio 1928 Steinway is even better and it’s now free 👍it’s pretty much the same but plays even nicer in my opinion
Awesome! I'll definitely check that out. And I've been self-teaching myself to play, and make piano covers/compositions since the beginning of 2022, and hopefully start making piano videos someday.
Hi Oliver, that’s great to hear, how have you been finding self teaching yourself to play? I can shoot you over some more free resources from my upcoming chord accelerator course to your email if you like, if you are signed up to the email list?
My self-teaching has been going quite good, and I’d say I’ve gotten pretty “okay” at playing piano.😂 So thank you so much for the offer, but I think I’ll be good with what I’m doing right now. But in the future I might need to find different ways to teach myself, and your chord accelerator course might help if I need it. But still, thanks a lot for the offer!🙏
Oh cool that’s good glad it’s going well for you. No worries sounds good, what your biggest challenge with learning at the moment, I’ll bear it in mind for future videos in the new year
Wow 🤩 great performance 👏👏
Thanks very much 😍
Thank you 🎉
You are very welcome 🎹
I use the tape piano and autograph grams from labs
Oh nice yes I’ve been meaning to try those out as well, look forward to downloading them 🎹
how do I use sound paint in fl studio or any other DAW, as it itself can be played separately, but the soundpaint app only supports plug and play and no recording option. So for recording I want to know how do I use or install it in a DAW ?
Hey Sonis when you install soundpaint it should open in your DAW (FL Studio) from where you load your virtual instruments and plug-ins. It should say soundpaint in the menu and then you can load it up in your DAW from there. Just like the way you would load the stock FL studio sounds when creating a new track
