This channel is all about my workshop, and the eclectic mix of projects, machines and tools that pass through my shop. Back in the olden days, skunkworks used to be where projects were conducted in secret until they just appeared one day, with most being none the wiser. I like to work alone and feel like I'm building stuff in secret, so named my shop Speechoz Skunkworx (back in the early 2000s when Z's and X's were all the rage. Ahh, the noughties!). I have tried to capture the goings on around the "skunkworx" tinkering with projects, playing with bikes, repairing stuff and my adventures reviving and modifying old junk. Hope you Enjoy!

Did you change the crank bushes/needle bearings?
No I have found that there is usually no need. I just check that there is no play in the conrod and replace the roller bearings
Greetings, As always another brilliant detailed video 🇺🇸🎉🍾🇺🇸 Keep producing more videos.
Many thanks! Stay tunes, Part 2 of this video coming back out again soon
what is the range when full up how much diffren is the 30l tank
It's a 25 litre. Bike gets around 450ks with this tank
Good video mate. You might enjoy this video I put together of an interview with the dealer who personally created the very first Honda trail bike: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fI5kq8lxm9u-crQ.htmlsi=dXT-K7nWNEc6daBN
Ima go practice afterwork. Never changed a tire, but I have an awesome gf so I'm not gonna get caught not knowing how
that's the best place to practice
Very interesting..thanks for that..👍
Nice and easy to follow tutorial. Thanks
They make rubber vacuum caps to block that off, any auto parts store or hardware store. I don't think I'd be shoving silicone in there.
THANK YOU. I’ve just bought a DR with the 25 litre Acerbis tank. It’s resting on the oil cooler bracket and the outer spark plug cap. I’ve googled and KZreadd and watch a lot of installs and only found two clips on adding scrap rubber under the tank to lift it and one showing to add shock absorber top rubbers to the inner sides. Your using a original rubber block is excellent..
no worries. I think that idea came from the Dr650 Facebook page. Glad you enjoyed the video
I see it's got the hi ,low gearbox ,I've jus bought 3 110s that ended up at the scrappies, hope to get 2 mobile, need to sort the spark out ,all got the hi ,low gears
Lol you went through all that effort to rebuild them but didn’t even restore it re paint the actual fork stems go through all that effort to rebuild it and make it look brand-new again
I got two on fb market for fairly cheap as projects and I’m nearly done and rebuilding one but yeah one having trouble with fitting the 212cc 4 valve engine and I’m trying to figure out what tapered bearings I would need for mine as I don’t know what year model mine is aren’t they all the same like honestly? Any advice for me? Much appreciated thank you
yes, Pretty sure the head stem bearings for posties are all the same, the ones I got from ebay

I just got my hands on one of those old Super 24 Victas. She needs a bit 🤏 of TLC before I can start her up yet...
There's always room for Christmas pud so I'm happy I can make my own
I actually wanted to clip that skit, but was worried about copyright
You don't need an extra volt regulator for the head light, it's already there. Tap into the black wire going to the horn switch , you got 12v dc, over the ignition switch.
Headlight has to come on automatically when engine starts to be legal here
@@speechozskunkworx it does, comes on when you turn on the ignition key, just like on my Yamaha.
Easy way to get 12v dc regulated power for the light, is to run a wire from the black wire on the turn signal relay to the yellow wire to the light switch, it runs over the ignition switch.
Was the headlight on without the motor running
on the lower one, did you keep the outer race flush with the bottom of the tube or did you pound it further inside?
I would've knocked it all the way to the shoulder, the grease seal sits in the tube as well, I'll go and see if I can get a pic
I'd keep one eye over my shoulder in case the wife catches you cleaning that wheel . Lol
Is there a lip to knock out the inner race on these new tapered bearings?
yes you can knock them out again
They are a hoot 😁👌 I have one that I inherited from my father in law , it doesn’t discriminate what ever is in its path
I bought that socket for my headlight and did what you show I didn't actually see your video I saw someone else's video on that but I'm having the problem with the light bulb blowing out due to high voltage do you have any idea what's going on with my ct110
Hope u were wearing some hearing protection
