The yellow represents an ideology/morality i think. That's why he's still holding the flower when he falls. He's still holding onto his morals/ideas. Not sure but i definitely know it's deeper than, "they're afraid of yellow" maybe thats why josh doesnt do anything in the trench, and disappears after the car wreck in heavy dirty soul. Josh wasnt ever there just the memory and the ideology/morals that they started with

beautiful. this was a really sincere, compassionate interpretation of their art/work rather than a cold dissection of clues. I appreciate how you focus on how the details from their lyrics and videos come together to create larger messages. especially now that everyone-and-their-brother rush to youtube to be the first to react to big name albums and videos to get clicks but have put little effort into providing the “clicker” any quality insight, you have taken a lot of time behind the scenes, analyzing, doing research, thinking even! to help us understand the TOP universe. (i feel like this could turn into some cheezy “click” vs “clique” banter to distinguish true fans from click-baiters), which in turn allows us to appreciate the messages the band is presenting to us. very beautiful, heartfelt video. thank you for this. context (feel free to stop reading here): I didn’t discover TOP until catching a rerun of their SNL performance in 2017. Immediately afterwards I downloaded Blurryface and played it on repeat till 3 a.m. - it was love at first sight/listen and I’ve been paying attention to them ever since. I was especially proud of these two guys because I was born and raised in Ohio. Josh Dun’s drumming inspired me to finally begin learning to play drums despite being a 43 year old mom who had felt, since elementary school, that drums weren’t for girls. (Incidentally, although I looked like the other student drummer’s mothers rather than the actual drum student annual recital, I actually played Heathens - one of the two songs I had been inspired by the previous summer on SNL! I’m 50 now and still practicing drums…) I obviously missed the Blurryface tour but anxiously took my place in the ticketmaster queue and spent a large chunk of my checking account and miraculousy got tickets to see them in Detroit (where he dedicated My Blood to his niece) and (even more miraculously) in their hometown Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. (Incidentally, Sahlo Folina can be unscrambled to spell All Ohio Fans.) And now I have tickets to Clancy in Columbus in October. All of this is to say Twenty One Pilots holds (what’s a less cheezy way to say this…) a special place in my heart. Of course, being human, I understand what it is to feel like when anxiety, doubt, insecurity have taken a hold of me and how that keeps me from expressing my true self or living a free, happy, authentic life. And, of course, what it is to have people close to me suffering from mental illness and even attempting suicide. I also relate to his lyrics in which he is questioning his faith and religion, though it doesn’t seem to me he has ever renounced them as I have (I’m just comparing/relating but not disrespecting/not judging). I was also raised Christian, but over the course of my 20s, 30s, and 40s, my Doubts led me to identify as agnostic for probably a decade before becoming a full blown atheist for probably the last ten years, which is where I stand now. I’ve never been drawn into fantasy/sci fi novels or movies like Dune or Harry Potter - they’re confusing, and feel foreign to my reality and therefore not relatable. Tyler’s creation of this universe, however, especially because it is presented in a medium I can understand - music and music videos - has drawn me in and I feel I have been a part of it for years now. However, I often need help dissecting and making sense of many of these symbols, characters, lyrics, and storylines. (And, being a 50 year old woman, it’s really not a topic of discussion amongst my peers.) Now, in 2024, it has become easier to find fans analyzing the lore, and all I have to do is click on a youtube video. However, not all of these so-called fan videos are created equal. Your videos are for sure “more equal than others”. This summer I have been diving into the album/videos of Clancy. I’ve needed some assistance understanding this album, and I’ve needed some refreshers of lore from the previous albums/storylines, which is how I found your videos. They’ve also helped clarify some things I never really fully grasped, so I appreciate your insight. I think even if I stripped away all of the lyrical analysis, I would still love twenty one pilots for their music. such a stellar, unmatched, uniquely-recognizable sound. I love the way its driven by bass and drums rather than guitar as most music is. so impressive how its just two people -- Josh holds his own as half of the band as he is a master of his craft. And that everything else is the work of one person -- Tyler -- is unprecedented (well, at least rare), and he is a genius musician and storyteller. Since I’ve rambled on this long, I’ll share a few of my personal TOP favorites. Favorite album: Blurryface. Favorite songs (not particularly in order): Ride, Heavydirtysoul, Stressed Out, Fairly Local, Lane Boy… I also love Message Man, Doubt, Polarize, The Judge… okay, so it was hard to narrow them down… it’s a stellar album… Second place favorite album: Trench. Favorite songs on Trench: 1. Chlorine. Yes, Chlorine is definitely #1. Or maybe Bandito is #1. Ohhh… that’s a tough one. Chlorine and Bandito - you can tie for first. I also love Levitate, My Blood, While Scaled and Icy had some nice songs on it, it never really spoke to me, which is why I really appreciated your video in which you explained how it is propaganda material. I only discovered that video/that interpretation/concept a few weeks ago and that really sheds light on the album, so thank you for that. I didn’t realize Clancy existed until July (I’m also a huge Taylor Swift fan so I was engrossed in TTPD and had no headspace for any other music for a few months), but I already love it. My favorites, which are subject to change upon further listens, are Next Semester, Overcompensate, and Paladin Strait. Geez… leaving a simple comment is difficult when the subject matter means so much to me and has become so much a fabric of my life. Further, because I have no TOP fans in my “real” life, I feel I can share my love for their music/art/world with other people online even if I have never met them or had a real conversation with them… other than a youtube comment that exceeds protocol in length and sharing of personal information. Life is up here, so I must get on with my day (in other words, I need to shampoo my living room carpet because one of my dogs, well...), but ultimately, I wanted to let you know I appreciate your well-made, thoughtful, sincere videos. They have added to my understanding of this universe and in turn helps me appreciate their music even more. so, once again, thank you for this! -nicole

Ned grew antlers in Outside and gave them to Clancy, these antlerse gave him the power to seize posessed Keons. He controled him and made him dance and destroy one of the 9 ligthbulb to signal one of bishops was dead.

I was really hoping for a video from you this era, though i suppose the pilots have been a lot more direct and upfront this era, but i just showed my brothers your trash the dragon analasys the other night and they couldnt get over how high quality your work is
