  Evening. Thanks for making this video. I loved playing this game growing up. I'm just having issues with installing the two mods. I've repeated the steps several times and cannot seem to get it. When downloading each game I link the to the base copy and then download the mod to the new folder I created. At that point I get a download fail warning. When I click ok and tell to download again, another warning box's comes up saying the folder must be empty I want to download it to. When looking the mod folder has downloads in there justifying the previous warning. I delete and re-attempt but still no joy. It does this with both mods. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

  Pink is just a freaking clown man. First he sends his ships in small groups. They achieve nothing, absolute 0. Then his k-bots in the water??!!!!! WTF?! Sometimes having a bot on your team is better than an actual teammate :O

  Me making Harpies is lol actually, cause it was harald :D At the time Lemminkainen and Nemtudom attcked mid in the end, Harald used Harpies and killed Lemminkainen and then finished Nemtudom. P.S. Nemtudomm by the way, is somewhere Race / Harald skill level. He has nice macro/ micro skills and solid gamestyle.

  Map is too big with metal spread around too much for EXC's turtle style. Yes tidal generators are good, but metal extractors are better :)

  Dude; you keep rambling about other RTS games while casting TA. just cast TA, and stop talking non-sense about other things. You literally talk about this crap for 7 fucking minutes straight. minute 20 to min 27. :O . STAY ON TOPIC. - On a sidenote; YES, the real world IS also rock/paper/scissors". If you send an Abrams tank on the battlefield, the enemy will obviously deal with that with RPG's/attack helicopters or airplanes.

  That's a nice map, the combat seems a bit fast tho and seeing some of the defensive buildings like the guardian firing multiple shots is a bit off-putting for me. Does TAF bring any changes on it's own? Like how FAF mostly just does engine improvements and maps, leaving the rest to mods?

  No, TAF makes no changes to the game, it's only a client to play with others

  I know what Raged map you are talking about. I played that as well with him and the heaven side made my eyes fall out. You should cast it.

  Sorry for not being able to finish ! Was a really fun game , and I think Rock would have outlasted me ! Watching the game makes you wonder why , It seems easy to continue playing while you are watching, but in the moment , after so much micro and clicking, the hands just sort of stop working ....part of the game i need to improve on .

  If Walker would have been able to continue, my money would be on him. Rock made a lot of questionable choices as well as mistakes this game. Fatigue probably got to him as well D:

  Interesting that you mention screen resolution as my first PC was1280 x 1024 back in '97, powered by a late edition 4MB Matrox Millenium with 3D support. TA looked and ran superbly considering the huge amount of 3D going on for a game of that era with the banded mesa maps in particular having that realistic wow factor. It was a kind of a "you'd have to have been there" moment compared to what we have today since it was during the transition period from 2D to 3D gaming wise. Even the lauded C&C franchise stuck with 2D until Generals came out in 2003. Hats off to Cavedog.

  Nothing was so painfull as watching Rock's 4 Taloses just retreating after 01:13:30 point of time. He should have pushed straight into base.

  I mostly watch starcraft and I just remembered this game from my childhood and looked up if its still played. It's nice to see a channel dedicated to casts for this game, It looks super macro oriented, every game seems so long and epic.

  Probably because every unit can be countered , and defense is strong, so games tend to run long, Micro is very important though .

  I've been out of the loop since 2013 (more than 10 years); have there been any major developments in regards to the engine of the game? Either hacks that make it behave better in regards to path-finding, better non-cheating A.I., better graphics (the gameplay could be smoothed to 60fps for example)?? Or alternatively, are there any news about the development of a *source port* ?? I remember how years ago, some russian (I think) guy named "N72" was on his way to developing huge patch (bordering onto source port territory) that held great promise, but AFAIK he eventually vanished from TA Universe forums....
