  Roads are NEVER laid out using spline curves or French curves or ovals. They are ALWAYS designed with sections of curves with fixed radii. Pieces of a circle fitted together with all intersections at tangent points.

  When i try to deform parts of a chair, lamp or sofa, i have to move the dots very far from the center to deform (reshape) just a little the model, what is wrong, what am I missing? while in the videos, FFD seems to be working much easier and better?

  Hmm..ive been using trick...the const: Setting up layer can be really hard File size increasing Hard to manage if one components is replaced or edited If youre using curic section , managing the layer can hassle too..😅

  Does not work for me. Why? What am I doing wrong? I am following the video exactly. At 4:00 I just get the same mesh as at 2:53. There is no change. I even tried it out on a very simple imported mesh and got the same thing. NO TRIANGLES LIKE IN THE VIDEO.

  thanks, would you help me though? i have a problem with the generate buildings tool specifically with the last method, since its only creating a flat copy of my polygons. they are closed faces and its not giving them any height

  When you explode a group or component, everything inside is automatically selected. Notice that when I explode the path group, I don't lose that selection, even after using the vertex tool.

  @@TutorialsUp Hey thank you for the reply. I have done exactly like in the video and I still cannot get it to work. I have done it many times over a few days, even redoing the entire process from scratch and rebuilding the model in a new file. And I still cannot select as it shows in this video at 20:48. Is it possible that it no longer does this? Have you tried doing this again lately? The select at 20:48 does not seem to work like in the video in SU Pro 2023. Edit: Selection Toys no longer has "select all smooth edges". I'm starting to think option 3 in this tutorial is no longer valid.

  it will not if you hold the ctrl key while doing that. Ctrl : Soften edges. Shift: hide edges. Please watch any basic tutorial on SketchUp eraser tool you for better understanding.
