Has SketchUp reached it's peak? For a few years now there have only been mediocre updates. You could do the same things with 2023 as you could with 2016 or even earlier versions. Can they keep up with other apps? One thing most of us want is for SketchUp to support large files better. Importing 3ds Max files would also be great.

sadly to say this. but atm SketchUp is the prefer choice in the industry.. they are on top of the competition just next to revit... and I say its sad because Trimble is STEALING their clients.. they are doing an illegal act LEGAL. these stupid so call upgrades you can do them 10 years ago with curic mirror and toyselection Extensions FOR FREE.... its sad how trimble still alive.. but I have to accept. google came out with the best software as far as concept goes....

I tell you what is new year after year: you pay more for your subscription and they add one or two new features taken from some free plugin. Ridiculous, the same program than sketchup 8 but it was free back then. Sketchup is what it is for its comunity.

Only good thing is Revit importer and it only works with a Studio license. Curic Mirror is as good or better than Flip. Selection Toys is better for deselect faces / edges plus gives more options. Very mediocre update. I'm on Pro subscription (with free updates) and will still probably stick with 2022 for now.

I have no hope and they still manage to let me down. Sketchup is essentially skyrim of 3d modeling programs, mods will make this program usable. What makes me even angrier they and plugin developers use subscription models so summary price is getting very big. Fuck you trimble. Great video as allways

SKETCHUP need some new modifiers like 3ds max vertex & Quad modeling and a modeling history like fusion 360 ; Believe me all peoples would move to it 🙂

They've literally given up. Nothing here we've not had for years through free plugins........ A clear open goal for them for a decade to turn it into what it could and should be. And every time they miss by a mile. Beyond disappointed.

Very funny update already have plugins can do more and better . Many core functions missing like UVs layout and vertex selection , boolean like 3ds max or blender , multi viewport etc … This two years i move to blender and. A much better every thing have there
