Relaxing Sounds TB channel

Relaxing Sounds TB channel

The cognitive response to the sounds of nature have been shown to result in increased productivity, improved overall mood, and deeper relaxation. For decades, people have been retreating to nature for a sense of calmness and clarity. Whether that is the beach, mountains, rainforest or desert, the sounds of water, wind blowing through the trees, animals like crickets and birds, and other nature-like tones have comforted mankind for many years. While many of us don’t have the same access to a long-term daily connection with nature as our ancestors once did, the ability to utilize relaxing nature music can certainly help reap its great benefits.

Overall, the soothing sounds of ocean waves crashing or poetic rain falling on the grass may help bring your mindset into a state of calmness that can benefit your cognitive function and nervous system - whether you’re listening intentionally via meditation or subliminally in a public setting.

It's just because you don't spend 50+ hours a week in that noise. It becomes real comforting real fast and silence starts to give you anxiety.

@@NarpytheCrimeDog I mean, this is obviously a sound someone made on a computer. it's not real. There are other industrial factory noise videos that i do like. But this one just sounds estranging and not relaxing.

The days of being a young kid or a teenager in the 1980s and that is for sure. Our relatives going to the bowling alley doing some bowling, then us younger ones playing video games half the night there. My favorite was always the pinball machines. Once we got done playing video games we had to sit there and watch our parents bowling

Every Christmas Eve, it was my family's tradition to spend the evening at our local bowling alley. It was a magical time... Then one day, that bowling alley closed to make way for a furniture store. To this very day, I have a seething, burning hatred for that store.

I invited a character who in-between jobs go's to his friends bowling alley to sleep in one of the back rooms because the sounds of bowling helps him sleep. Anyways I pretend to be him sometimes when I can't fall asleep and I use this sound.

Same. I have spina bifida and acute chronic pancreatitis, and have had 80+ surgeries before I was 35. I am the most comfortable in a hospital to the point that it's my happy place in my mind. I normally sleep with rain noise or brown noise, but I had trouble sleeping for about a week. Just dawned on me one night to search for ambient hospital sounds, I've been falling asleep much faster now. My only issue is that I much prefer the videos that have people talking like this one, but sometimes I wake up startled because my brain suddenly believes someone is in the bedroom. 🤣
