    I really like the replay format, it's faster but with no loss of any of your comments : why you play this or that, the mistakes you realized, etc. I see how you split prizes in a real-life tourney, but how do you do that in mtgo ? 🤔

  • @Kirblinxy
    @KirblinxyКүн бұрын

    @v01dv01d The replay format is just harder because it is edited it is easier to stumble when talking or missing things so some games take multiple takes to get right. For a split on mtgo, the difference in prizes from 1st to 2nd is 1 set and 25 Chests, so you agree on what the set is worth (In this case it was MH3 and worth roughly 135tix) and the winner trades half, so 12 chests + 68 tix. They asked for 92 tix which seemed fair.

    Excellent result! Nice to see white weenie established as a solid tier 1 deck at last! It was my pauper deck of choice 13 years ago and never saw so much play until now. It gained a lot of power lately from cutting hawks/journeys and adding charms. The deck is already very stable and strong, but also open for further improvement, adjustment and innovation. WW mirrors are still one of the most miserable things in mtg though =(

    What do you think is the reason for the 45% winrate of WW? (From your own challenge data post) Many new inexperienced pilots, or something else?

  • @Kirblinxy
    @KirblinxyКүн бұрын

    @FasFas160 From the Saturday challenge? The fact that Affinity and Red really dropped off that challenge, which is what WW preys on the most. It's not great into Broodscale and Terrible into gardens which were the next 2 most played decks. I figured this shift would happen which is why I played Turbofog in that challenge (didn't get to play against WW though).

    What's your opinion on squadron hawk in WW?

  • @Kirblinxy
    @KirblinxyКүн бұрын

    @hendrikd2113 It just doesn't have a great cost to power ratio. 2 mana for a 1/1 flyer just doesn't help your aggressive gameplan. Sure it can draw you 3 cards, but all those cards are pretty mediocre. Almost every other creature in the deck can draw a card as well so you mostly never run out of gas. I think you need Brainstorm or Looting to make use of its style of draw.
