I started becoming a vegetarian for very minor reasons because meat wasn’t appealing to me, but after I heard Joaquin’s beautiful Oscar speech I know the true meaning of vegetarianism and veganism because no animal deserves to be treated like this. He is one of my favorite actors and also a person I look up to the most. We definitely need more people in this world like him. This really does numbers and it takes courage to do such a heroic act.
