His Majesty's 10th Regiment of Foot
Welcome to the Official Channel of His Majesty's 10th Regiment of Foot In America Inc.
Reenacting historical battles, participating in encampments and parades since our founding in 1968.

The members of the Tenth are uniformed, equipped, and trained in 18th-century military drill and life so that we appear as the 10th Regiment would have in 1775. Each company of the regiment, with the exception of the Music, is currently open for recruitment!

I didn't realize they had street lights in the 1700 's 😂
Do you where your camera on ur chest?
i want to see a squad of soldiers from different eras crash a reenactment battle and say they're re-enactment time travelers.
That is an alarmingly STOUT load! 160g for the MAIN charge??? Holy crap!! Is that the period load?? If so that is ridiculously heavy for a cartridge! Those must have bucked HARD, also I can only imagine the unburnt powder thrown out the muzzle.
What are they shooting? 3:55
real or feak😂
We getting to 35 wave 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

Ever since the event I've been looking forward to see you guys post this
Hope it was worth the wait! Thanks for watching!
@@HM10thFoot Very much so! I was in the civilian corps so all I heard from the park was gunfire and all I gathered were the stories from my company, very nice to actually see what was going on!
I notice that the Lights(? I believe) have plain 10s on their hats during this reenactment. Didn't they used to be Xs before? Just curious about the details! I've been writing a character who's in the 10th Regiment.
Hi there, the painted “10” was an update made to our lights caps in 2021 based on more accurate documentation and research. Yes, prior to that we had brass X’s! Great observation! Hope you enjoyed!
Nice narrative. added a 👍.
Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching!
Question, Were fifers used in battle with drummers? did they have reversed coats? and did they wear cocked hats or bearskins?
Hi Maxwell, great question! Fifers were definitely a critical part of the British Army. A full strength regiment would have at least two dedicated fifers, while each company in the regiment would have two drummers. Regulation called for two, however regimental commanders could hire extra to boost morale. Fifers like their drumming counterparts filled ceremonial and tactical roles within the army. They played tunes on the march and in camp to boost morale as well as played several critical signals on the battlefield such as cease-fire or retreat. Similar to drummers they wore reverse colors and bearskins during the early war years. Hope this helps and that you enjoyed the video!

Israel at war is provoking Iran, now with nuclear capabilities, into an escalation that could push the U.S into the brink of a WW3. Ukrainian soldiers are on the frontlines dying to keep their sovereignty fighting with NATO for securing global peace amongst democracies, and I'm on KZread watching your war reenactments for entertainment purposes. Thank you for sharing your battle. Great video 👍
america vs Philippines
kids at kindergarten school when this whole class started a fight:
What type of camera does one use to capture this? I would assume it is a smaller camera with not many straps so it can hide amongst the rest of the uniform.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Extremely well done Zaslow
this looks fun i wanna do this bruh😭
Thank you for the action video that brings me back to my many years as a Grenadier in HM Tenth Regiment of Foote. One small detail I find amusing is hearing the NCO's & officers scolding their men to assume ordered formations by addressing them as "Gentlemen, gentlemen...." when nothing of the sort could ever had occurred in 1775. Being referred to in public as a "gentleman" was a much sought after goal of many aspiring men, but rarely granted. A gentleman had attained a status otherwise denied the mass of humanity. As for infantrymen in ranks, the names they were most likely called by their superior officers were likely unprintable here.
"No more British occupation!" "Back to England with you!" If you know, you know..
Watching these men boosts the confidence of every other boy and man to join the military! haha
Look so smart in uniform! Would love to be a soldier and fight like this.
