This channel is dedicated to furthering the understanding and training of girls lacrosse players from elementary school through high school. The training is intended to help coaches and players better understand how to succeed in girls lacrosse by showing video of both good and not so good action of lacrosse and breaking it down into the learning points from each situation. Coach Limpert breaks down the video using his 13+ years of experience as a high school coach.

And they are so inconsistent with this penalty...sometimes it's a penalty, sometimes not. Its a big problem in girls lax.
the kid with her back turned during the entire instruction! SMH
Question- in 2023, when a HS girl subs out her draw stick at the substitution box, can a player hand her the other stick or does it have to be a coach??
finna make something happen
I just started reffing lacrosse as it is in huge demand. This video helped tremendously
Absolutely the wrong call. Not the right explanation. It's not shooting space at all she led with her stick. Bad call. Period. Lazy officiating
I tend to agree, her job would be to stop ball at that point, and she did not jump in front, she is off to the side. The only way not to get this call though, would be for #3 to take a step over first, which is really hard to do in game speed.
Thank you. Great explain
Put the girls in pads and helmets, let them play like the boys, case closed.
i wish we could do that it would be more fun and all these safety rules are annoying
@@hannahhc527 literally i get fouls every game
Thanks
excellent instruction.
This is a great video. Thanks for posting it. I have one clarification though. On the first shooting space foul, 19 does have the right to keep going through to stay with her attacker. A defender can’t be drawn into shooting space by an attacker, and had she kept going through, mirroring the girl she was guarding (38), she would not have been called. The foul occurs when 19 turns to guard the ball carrier. At that moment she goes from guarding the off ball attacker who to being in shooting space due to trying to guard the shooter. Had #38 just been standing at X and not running through, then 19 would have needed to move out of the middle to avoid shooting space, but since 38 was running through X, 19 could have kept running through the 8m without being called.
Very nice video.
Defensive player playing with one hand on stick?
Good explanation. I want to ask you, is this foul called in international lacrosse?
Dang she was pushing through hard. But im going to learn this
Great explanation! Thanks.
You're welcome, thanks for watching! You may want to also view kzread.info/dash/bejne/c6SaxLSPYLSamag.html
Just don't do it when the defender is trailing...you will get called for a dangerous shot.
well executed! Thank you!
Nice description/beakdown. Would be nice to see the game speed also.
I NEED TO LEARN THIS!!!
That shot was awesome!! I'm going to work on it and try in a game.
