Does this fit the spg458?
Odd comment. I love it!!!!!!! And its not limited edition so I will just wait to get it for £350 on sale which I think is a decent price.
I don't want a larger version. There are too many oversized watches on the market. G Shocks are nothing but planet sized watches. The vintage style digitals need to remain a similar size to what they are mimicking.
I don't understand why Casio sell out and don't replace stock. I want to buy one but I can't find anywhere legit to buy one now.
I pre-ordered the new Pogue - not a sub dial type of guy but always wanted a Pogue - and this is as close as I'm going to get. For the money.
My feelings exactly, a lot of nice colour ways on the speedtimer
I agree, the shows have been really enjoyable. All the guests are very good.
I just don’t understand the whole solar thing. I’ll never own one.
The ones I've owned have all had issues or broke. I gave up on them. And I don't call their 24h subdial a subdial, just filler.
I have 3 different Arnie's - all Solar and all great. What's the issue?
@@garyshepherd9226 One barely holding charge. (cell replaced, same). Another one just stopped working. Those three small solar cells on chronos just don’t work right imo, and I am just unlucky with these...
I had that problem with the lume on a Tissot watch I bought and returned it. Nice looking watch but I thought it was unacceptable that at night or in a poorly lit area that I can't see the lume clearly. From then on I promised myself that the next watch is going to have great lume. I bought a Luminox, and that fixed my problem😏, nice video.
Cracking show fellas, some fantastic watches to add to my wish list!
A beautiful watch, and possibly a more affordable Aqua Terra alternative. At $700, this is an excellent buy. Thanks for the review.
Man, this one definitely gets me back on the integrated bracelet bandwagon. Looks great. 😬
Not having bluetooth can be good. It draws way less battery and some ppl have jobs where bluetooth is banned.
Quality wise sure. It can more than challenge The Twelve and the PRX, but sadly it missed the mark in terms of the looks department. Both The Twelve and the PRX are nicer looking watches.
Just stumbled across this and decided to buy the watch bc of your review. Appreciate the honesty. Being a magnum PI fan, feels like a no brainer. Cheers!
I love all the tsuyosa model and serie8 who change the image of all the brand, new and young customer are interested by citizen thanks to this new model,i love the serie i,but this particular mkdel remember me my modest orient king saphyre,of course the orient bracelet is realy cheap and the serie 8 is realy perfect.
Did you end up selling this on eBay! Disappeared from my watchlist! Beautiful watch.
Hey. I actually ended up selling it privately.
@@CasualWatchReviews great deal! It took me awhile to sell one of my watches to fund yours! Glad it went into good hands. I’ll probably head to Toppers to buy one this week! Great videos as always.
Thanks! Yep it’s getting harder to sell watches these days
Thanks for a great show gents!
The of size subject is not a new one😅! what IS new is the vintage( or vintage style dressier watch as opposed to the more original sports watch
Shame it doesn't have bluetooth, an apple watch is useless in an apocalypse when it runs out of power, this watch will keep going for decades as long as there's sunlight! Why are these only sold in America? 🙏🏻
I love this watch, and I can’t wait to see it in Chicago at wind up. I think it’ll be a lot more competitive under the thousand dollar price point.
If you chat to the Citizen team they are really cool. Mention you saw it on my channel if you don’t mind!
Of course, I’ll mention you to them. Hopefully, I’ll be getting some good video at some interviews as well
CitiOak
Cracking show
misses in proportions. Stick hands which dont meet up with the elegance of the case. the case dominates at 41. so close but no cigar
Had not heard of Vaer; they do look nice and appear to be well made. Thanks for the great review!!
This is a bit of a miss, IMO. It's a bit too big (never thought I'd say that) since this style of watch wears bigger anyway and I don't think they've got the compromise between formal and sporty quite right. That white arc from 12 - 3 o'clock is fine on a diver but on an integrated sports watch it feels out of place.
Wow, love it.
I dunno, I can't get there with it. The Titanium Small Seconds is so elegant and this looks so cheap and chintzy to me. I wish I knew what I was missing.
I’m actually wondering what I would go for if they had let me keep one. The titanium was nice, this wine has a more machined look to it. I may need to think on that for a while.
Nice to see Patrick and John
How can we adjust this bracelet (BOR bracelets) ??
Very easy, these are just push pins.
Would it look good with a leather strap?
You can’t swap it over. The actual lug width is like 9mm I’m afraid
My father gave me his pogue watch that was given to him as a kid in 1975. The watch is engraved with my fathers name and year and from whom given it to him. It has not ran in 20+ years and i just took it to my local jewler they opened it and looked at it and said it only needed a cleaning aka servicing and they would have to send it out to be serviced and crystal swapped. They quoted me 6 weeks and will cost an estimated $180. Only thing i need to find is a original strap/band as my dad wore it on a custom stering silver band
Funny was in London and could not see one if i didn’t go to their shop …. Pricy and exclusive i suppose
Fears are still a small independent brand so they don’t have many retailers beyond their store in Bristol. They attend a lot of watch shows so you can see one there. If you watch Sundays livestream Nicholas talks about being on the road most weeks trying to show people the watches. They’re exclusive because they are small production not because they want them to be.
@@CasualWatchReviews yup i know all of that …. Just like me , another guy from NY at my hotel ( i’m from Quebec ) wanted to see some pieces and like me was ready to buy but had no time to go to Bristol 🤨 He bought some other piece ( studio underground i think ) , for me i wanted to see a Brit watch ….
Did you go to London when the British Watch and Clock Makers show was on? That was in London and had over 90 British brands represented. You could have seen them all even studio underdog
@@CasualWatchReviews nope , it would have been the best. Studio had a day near London when i was there but only one watch model to sell…. Maybe next trip , never know
My dude... stay on the topic please. Your lengthy digressions should be separate stories.
This isn’t live? The upload has been on KZread since September last year.
Dude is describing a Breitling Aerospace as his perfect watch
So aside from everything you mentioned about the watch and you can see the time, what else this watch do and all the functions?
It’s time only this one. Just tells the time, no other complications.
Absolutely stunning watch.
The whole anal retentive attention to watch accuracy - for automatic watches is such a non starter, not many people care that much including many watch collectors. If you really fuss about accuracy, geez buy a Casio G-Shock or an Ecodrive Citizen.... The high end luxury watch buyers don't always care about COSC either, if you've got a $40k Daytona on your wrist... I would'nt give a toss! It's a beautiful piece, has cache and a party pleaser!
I’m just going to point out the obvious here. Have you ever known someone really into watches that was not ‘anally retentive’ about the hobby? I own mechanical, eco drive and several gshocks, love them all. A mechanical watch that gains 20 seconds a day when it could perform better is just lazy on the watch companies behalf. One of the main selling points Rolex started with, and why they got so big was based on accuracy. The posing at parties came much later.
It's too expensive , but as some comments says around 2.5k its a bargain. I can live with that but its a beautiful watch 😊
I just acquired a PRW 6000Y-1a and a PRW 6900YL-5JF. It's getting pretty hard to figure out which one I want to wear the most. I have no interest in Apple watches.
Their website photos of this watch look a little cartoonish but seeing 'in the flesh' photos and videos seem to do it more justice. Beautiful yet masculine and a better 'wear everyday' appeal than the Brunswick.
Bro I just bought this like 20 min ago , it's been something I've been wanting for years now I just bought it for 150 on Amazon 224 with shipping and tax ( comes from Japan and I paid for faster shipping only +20). then I looked up a review and saw your video made me glad I made the choice
Wow this watch has a design that I find unappealing like all in the comments . It's hard to imagine who would purchase or wear it, especially given the steep price
PRX killer = Accurist Origin 41mm, can be bought with Miyota quartz 2315 movement or with automatic movement (probably also Miyota ).
I did have a mainspring break on my Speedmaster so I sent it off to get fixed and serviced (bought it in 2008 and the spring broke in 2022, pretty much my fault for not getting it serviced since buying it). When they sent it back they sent all the parts they replaced too, which included the crystal which had a huge crack in it, the crown and pushers (which I thought looked perfectly fine so I figure they just replace those as a matter of course), the broken mainspring, and all the hands (which I also thought looked just fine, I guess they just always replace those too). But they did also send back a couple of cog wheels from within the watch mechanism. I can't tell what was wrong with them, they look OK to me, but I don't have a microscope to check them under. So if they're like the UK Omega service centre then yeah, they will send broken components from inside the watch itself back if they needed to replace them.
Good looking watch and excellent review 👍
Very grand Seiko vibe😊
GMT 36mm was the way to go.. such a great watch
