  24’ 250f with the yoshimura installed ejk absolutely rips next opening up air box mod definitely hear lots of back fire what’s a quickest way to remove plastic? Melt or cut ?

  @@huitron23 Nice! I cut the air box open with a box cutter/utility blade. It cut pretty easily.

  It’s an E model. Don’t be thinking you’ll get your “S” or “SM” to sound like that with just a slip-on exhaust. Motor is in a completely different state of tune.💡

  I believe the service manual says 11-13 ft lbs. I just get them reasonably hand tight, or "good and snug".

  Diaelectric grease is an insulator, it should never contact the metal terminal parts of the plug boot or plug. It should be used on the ceramic part of the plug only and carefully applied on to the rubber part of the boot only. You can use a qtip to make sure you dont contact the terminal with the grease. It will then eliminate arcing to grounds and prevent boot from sticking next time it is removed.

  While you're there change the oil pressure sensor it's only $30 but it will save you from taking everything apart

  Noticed your manifold bolt was snapped off closest to the rear on the drivers side... Mine was too ! Apparently they do that over time... Wondering how you dealt with that !

  Awesome deal. Recommend carbs cleaned and adjusted. Sounds like a carb has a plugged pilot circuit. Fresh gas and new spark plugs. Clean your clutches and hang on tight. Fun machine.
