Denali sounds more like a truck. Escalade sounds like an exotic
The spoil is such an eye sore 😅 otherwise this car is BEAUTIFUL
Yes, not my first choice, it was already on when we got the car. It does make it stand out a but, but I prefer 67 and 68 Cougars without the wing. Thanks!
That thing is sexy right there!!! Brings tears to the eyes. Hold on to this beauty and keep her safe!!!!
Thank you! She's a nice one!
The Escalade V
They both suck
Denali
V
Denali
Hennessy is a rip off. Laugh at anyone who wastes their money with them.
Denali all day, caddy is all bark no bite.
I don't know, 682 hp is alot of bite
Left
Both beautiful gotta give it to the caddy
No1
Yall crazy, that Caddy sounds sick even though the Henny likely walks it 😂
Same engine different exhaust
Denali sounds way more old school cool. Caddy sounds like a Mustang. I hate that tinny sound.
Sounds nothing like any Mustang. It sounds just like the Camaro, Corvette, and everything else with the same LT4 engine...
The black one
The 1st one👍
Sounds like my arse in the morning so no 2 !!
😂
henny
There one that doesn't cost 150k and drops 50% in value in a year.
😁
So the neither, the caddy holds its value like the Hoover dam and the Denali will drop maybe 3%
V of course! Even though I'm shocked that Hennessey didn't make it louder
It's definitely a different tone
I had the same car, same year, same color, same 390ci, BW T-10 close ratio 4-speed Go Pack, Hurst shifter, posi, except no side pipes or rear spoiler. Loved that car. Dreamt about driving it for years after I sold it, which is the biggest regret as far as vehicles I have ever had. Most fun car to drive I've ever owned, even more than my 2017 Chevy Camaro 2SS I ordered brand new. I'd take the 1970 AMX back if I could over the new Camaro.
Great minds thinks alike! Just like yours, I miss having this one. I believe the side pipes on this one were actual sidewinders from a dealer (still had the Sidewinder papers with the car). The spoiler the original owner put on afterwards I believe. Glad the video could give you some nostalgia!
Absolutely gorgeous 😍. I had an identical 1979 gold edition with t-tops, same engine with WS6 package. I truly miss that car 😊😊😊 mine did have the hood bird.
Very nice! I'm sure it was alot of fun!
Mine looks almost exactly the same
Nice, it's a great color combo. I loved having this truck. Yours have the red interior too?
@@callawayclassics Yep it does

It was a color change from blue to white. You can see a picture of the trim tag on our website. I think it looks better in white www.callawayclassics.com/1957-cadillac-coupe-de-ville-white-9219
STUNNING 👍 , BEAUTIFUL 👍 ,
Thank you!
Great Truck! Love the stick shift in a Ramcharger
Thanks! Definitely adds some character to it!
Wrong tires
Thanks
Beautiful car and thanks for the nice ride! I 1/2 expected you to go a little crazy or have fun with it but instead a nice ride, thank you. I'd love to see the outside of the if it is as nice as the interior very nice!
Thanks for the positive feedback instead of critiquing my driving/shifting habits like most others haha. I got on it a little getting onto the highway, but it's not a radical car. Just a 289 pretty close to stock specs it would seem. Sounds good with the Flowmasters though! Here is a walk around video of it on the outside: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dq6gqc6dfraZkcY.html Thanks for checking it out!
I had a 1969 343 four speed. My favorite year of is 69. I like the dash in the back and the front and the hood G I like the car I wish I still had one. I got a beautiful vet if anybody wants to trade AMX.😊
Things I did not know: 1. only one brake line for both rears. 2. had rear sway bar. I thought with that axle type one wouldn't need a sway bar. 3. The front transverse control arms are triangulated via a front radius rod vs an A-frame type lower or rearward compression control arm. 4. E-brake is very simplistic, suprissed by the way it is tensioned. 5. Looks like a steering box vs rack and pinion as evidenced by the damper tube and the pittman arm. I had no idea they didn't use R&P yet. 6. Drums in back. I thought a highline car like this would already have 4 wheel discs. I was born in 1979 so I am mainly used to the post malaise era vehicles, especially the metric ones. This is stuff I never knew before seeing this. Cool stuff being able to see the ORG presentation.
Glad it was educational! Great observations! I think the only car from the 60s and early 70s to have 4 wheel disc brakes was the Corvette. It was an upgrade just to have disc brakes in the front. Also, the staggered/offset rear shocks (on either side of the axle) was specific to the Boss Mustangs (other Mustangs did not have this). Thanks for the feedback!

You ain’t first Tesla lol

Today's cars are junk they all copy off each other and put different symbols on them and now they're making three cylinders cylinders ain't that bad enough as they make front-wheel drive and now they're destroying the trucks trying to make them front-wheel drive why don't people stick up for their country anymore and support American businesses not foreign and the computer world is destroying the planet quicker nobody uses their brains anymore old cars last forever you just renew what you need and make them your own
Thank you very much i just learnt something new
You're welcome!
