I’m Anna, a digital storyteller and creator of this channel. After a decade of being nomadic, visiting 52 countries, living on 5 continents, and 4 years of traveling across the USA & Canada in a converted camper van, I put down some roots in Colorado w/ my husband Ryan.
Ryan is a graphic designer, web developer, adventure addict, and jack of all trades who was heading west in a self converted camper, when we crossed paths.
Now we are based on 35 acres in Colorado, with our baby boy, rescue dogs, and chickens, and we're slowly transforming our acreage into a sustainable farm.

Puppy hell yeah.
You don't 'need' an automatic door, that is an extravagance. The small flat pack coops are okay as starters, but a shed conversion is likely where you will end up. Fencing and runs are expensive, but it can grow over time.

That is a blessing my daughter would flip her ish if an adorable husky randomly showed up on our door step.... butt then crriedd her eyes out after my husband dropped it off at a shelter.... sucks being allergic to pet dander

We still live rural on some acreage with chickens (just a little closer to a hospital and now we have a well for water which is a huge upgrade from hauling it)

It is very beautiful and we wish we could keep it. Ultimately we outgrew it size wise when we had our baby and it is VERY remote and we wanted to be closer to civilization and a hospital since we have a baby now

I LOVE what you did with the property and how you met and the entire store you told! I actually found this by searching YT for "5 acres" lol, because that's what I just bought. What's interesting is I'm also going to have solar but I'm not going to be off-grid. While the house is being built, I'm going to build solar racking and install 16 kW of solar panels but it will be grid-tie. I'll have the builders install a heat pump in the house so I won't need propane for heating. I plan to release a series of videos as progress is made.... until I have my dream home 😊 Thanks for sharing!

Wow… I found some 265 gallon bladders for 100 bucks on Amazon… these are also great for transporting water … omg the huge plastic tanks are so expensive and hard to move… I knew if I kept looking I’d find a solution… thank you thank you thank you… but I couldn’t find a company called ‘air’ or by another spelling, that sells these … are they local to your area?
