  As an Indian I'm ashamed you had to face this man, you were super chill with them and handled it like a gentleman but I know it felt terrible. It's a problem in smaller cities away from the bigger ones. Sorry about the experience. In places like urban Gurgaon and south Delhi, you won't face this. Let me know if anyone's visiting and I could give you a list of places to stay in and visit for a good and safe experience.
