Hello @ChadB, thanks for the explanation, really great. Did you already had some strange movements in your avata 2 when doing more fast turns? I having it almost every time and it sucks because I'm always afraid about doing more bold moves with my avata 2. In the minute 1:08 that you do a fast turn, probably at this time I would have faced this issue. Did you already have it or know how to avoid it?

Good video. Which software are you using to edit and grade your D-Log M footage? I'm having a hard time finding a good blend of easy to use but deep feature set. I've seen people using Davici Resolve but it doesn;t seem to play well with DJI footage right out of the drone. Codec issues or soemthing.

That was a really interesting Hyperlapse Tutorial. And something which I'm going to try with my Mini 4 drone. May I ask if you've done any Night Time filming with your Drone and if so what Colour Profile did you use for best results please? My Mini 4 does not have D-Log but rather a disgusting D-Log-M colour profile which is totally useless. From my single experiment I know that the Night Time mode is awful but I do get interesting results with the Natural and HLG colour profiles. However I am leaning more towards using the Natural colour profile for a Night Time experiment. I'd appreciate any thoughts you may have.

As a intermediate level pilot, manual mode still feels like the TRUE razors edge of this cinewhoops capabilities. So motion controller works PERFECTLY for what this drone is TRULY intended for. To each their own choice. But SPEED isn't always a positive for a plastic drone + collisions. Fly safe💪💯👍🏾

I just got my controller 3. The A2 allowed me to take off in manual mode no problem but when I attempted to land in manual it tried to absolutely kill itself, in fact, had it not slammed itself upside down and shut off, there would likely have been refresh service required. Nothing I did was shutting the motors down, finally, hitting the pause button is when it turned over and hit the ground full throttle inverted. Thankfully it was less than 18" off the ground when it flipped & dove in so no damage resulted. Going to switch to normal or sport modes for take off / landing until I understand this puzzle a little better. Cheers

I have a question for anyone that provide some guidance on manual mode and rate and expo settings. I have been flying RC planes and drones for some years. but this is my first Avata(2). I have flown sims in "Acro" (manual) mode. I've flown Avata2 only in sport because I find the default Rate and Expo setting problematic especially in gusty winds (>16mph). I understand rates and expo are a personal choice but If I wanted a setting i.e. that gave me more time to react what might those settings look like? Thanking in advance for your time and consideration. HFTA

Why fly in manual mode. Manual is for experts who are now confident. that want to do flips tricks and go fast not slow. normal and sport saves you from crashing. The fact that you are flying manual don’t really show us anything because your flying like a learner. Sorry man. It’s not exciting.

You totally do not make any sense. Flying in normal or sport does not save you from crashing. Also, why wouldn't I want to learn to fly manual? Yes, in this video, I'm learning to fly manual mode. You have to start somewhere. That was over a year ago. It takes a little practice. Maybe you should try to learn how to really fly your fpv drone.
