    gasoline cars are 11x more likely to catch fire than a Tesla, and that the best comparison of safety is fires per billion miles driven. If we compare using this method, there are approximately five EV fires for every billion miles traveled, compared to 55 fires per billion miles traveled in gasoline cars.

    Okay, but under your own watch and care have any of your own cars caught on fire yet? Of could the statistics be that there is less than 1% electric cars and 99% normal cars so doing any type of comparison for the market is absurd

    Just a thought….you suggest not using a steel scraper on the aluminium alloy casing….which is good advice…..does that not apply to the (steel) wire wheel? I would suggest you use a brass wire wheel to limit any sealing surface damage 👍

  • @DrDemp
    @DrDemp6 күн бұрын

    Steel vs. aluminum, in general, is usually a bad combination. However, what usually causes a leak in an aluminum sealing surface when mated when another aluminum surface is a gouged for example using a steel scraper, it creates a groove or Channel in the aluminum surface that could possibly leak easily. Using a wire brush wheel that's spinning is not necessary going to create that deep gouge straight across the same as a steel Scraper could create. But yes, you are correct in short, Brass would be better or even a composite hard plastic, but I hope my explanation makes it a little more clear.

Not one squeal not even a chirp this is the only thing that worked an I've tried wd 40, dial soap, engine assembly lube an they did nothing I did spill coolant on the belt a while back.
