  I still have mine from 1987. Bought in Milan when I was 18. Also, Olmes Carretti's Henri Lloyd design came in 1987, not 1994. Not to mention that paninari were long gone by 1994. They started disappearing in 1989, and by 1990-91, there were no more paninari.

  When I was at secondary school in the late 80's, lots of my friends' mums worked in the Henri Lloyd factory in Manchester. It was about 1.5 miles / 2.2km from our school. There would be sales every year where mums would by seconds and samples really cheap. Lots of kids has Henri Lloyd coats. They just thought they were cheap coats. Not a clue about the style.

  I lived in Milan for some time in the era....its nice but the deckshoes were also the clumpy ones.I prefered the ones with white soles..and dont forget thoise were HANDMADE in in the day..

  @@edypiro May I ask you a question, what would be the ultimate paninaro outfit top to bottom, so far I know these belts, arlington socks, moncler jacket, Levi’s jeans, timberlands, boat shoes, branded shirts some yellow gloves etc

  @@athanasios8002 So, those are already very good starting points. The paninaro style in the 80s was unique just with those brands but today in order to scream "paninaro" i think we need to also narrow down the items not just the brands so I'd say: elvstrom beanie or timberland vintage cap ray-ban Olympian I or II or Deluxe best if B&L a mullet haircut would be amazing :D tops can be any of those brands we love, jacket defo Moncler Grenoble but also stone island or sherpa with moncler vest would do... LEvi's ONLY 501 with rolls to show the timberland boots. Timberland orange chukka or vintage made in USA best but any would do, the gloves today I would pick vintage or modern el charro or timberland (I have both and love them) , vintage swatch or winchester or best is the timberland with comapss watch, rare to find and expensive ( i have 2 just in case,..) el charro blet with buckle but also Montana buckle would do good.. some olmer carretti best company or henri lloyd is also a good staple piece to have, virtus palestre sporty tops, avirex bomber, schott leather jacket... SO MUCH! :-) I hope this helps

  Hey Joe, yes they all will fit . A Montana is even more exclusive and expensive but any El charro will fit. Look for the old ones they have a “German silver” stamp at the back. Modern ones unfortunately don’t anymore ! Thanks for watching

  I know !!! There is still some trends we would consider “troppo scarso” (means not cool) like the Adidas trainers. We were absolutely not wearing the Adidas brand :-) just Nike, vans, all stars and new balance :-) thanks for watching !

  si in UK e' purtroppo un brand associato ormai quasi ed esclusivamente al mondo del calcio e di un certo tipo di tifoserie. I più' grandicelli pero' avendo qualche risorsa economica in più' hanno anche collezionato pezzi ormai disponibili facilmente online da negozi specializzati vintage. Quindi c'e' anche qualcuno che ormai lo fa per amore del brand ma principalmente quello che io vedo in giro e' per amore del calcio e associazione a determinate tifoserie... @@italiansalmonhead

  Hi! Brand from early 80s. Staple for the true Paninaro back in the days and still today. In the 80s it was a lot more common in the North of Italy (I personally didn’t own any back then). It was proper gym wear but so cool you could use as casual wear outside of the gym. A bit like Best Company that was also focussed a lot on embroidery and illustrations. Virtus has always just had the lettering of the logo and very cool cuts. I’m so happy that recently I managed to buy a few T-shirts and Sweaters from their current collection, very great quality !

  sorry for the late reply. You are right, I usually go 1/2 size smaller for the 3 and 2 eyes. I usually get 3 sizes and keep only the one that fits (unless i buy in store) 🙂

  @@andreaandriu5205 WOW 6 , si le taglie tendono ad andare ampie sul torace. A me la 2 sta molto fasciata sul petto/torace ma se vado piu; su con la taglia, comincia ad allungarsi troppo :) - settimana prossima propongo un video su delle bellissime timberland vintage ;)

  OMG! I had no idea that there was even such a style going on in Italy at the time. I am 46 years old (2022) and this is my definitel style and has been for years. I'm into classic motorcycles love to wear bomber jackets & huge Duran Duran fan😆. Inspired by guys like van Damme , Mickey Rourke, Lorenzo llamas, Richard grieco, Dean, Brando, at one point in time were considered the all American Kool guy 😎💪. As a Mexican American of my generation it is so sad to see how everything now has gone to 💩💔😢. The panineros guys have been overshadowed by today's generation 👎 no originality, no style, awful music, lame actors. No more good Italian American action heroes. Stallone /Al Pacino /deniro/ Chuck Zito/ Ray liottta/ Antonio sabato j.r. it's good to see that italians keep it very traditional and have good culture.👌

  Il moncler è un capo anni 80 quindi di vestibilità ampia, cercare di adattarlo alla vestibilità odierna mi sembra al quanto ridicolo. Ho visto braccia scoperte ed effetto camicia di forza pur di non sembrare omino Michelin (particolarità del capo tra l altro)... Parere personale! Sei d'accordo?

  Hi! yes pretty much the only sunglasses were the Made in USA RayBans (Bausch & Lomb manufactured) wayfarers, Olympian 1 and 2, Balorama etc. but I do love Persols and I owned a few pairs ( I still do! ) like the 714.

  Hi! thanks for stopping by. There is a big misconception about "casuals" and "paninaro" fashion, they are worlds apart but unfortunately (especially) in the UK are sometimes mixed up. Paninaro would never wear Adidas to start with, Vans and/or Converse All Stars where the only brands for summer trainers. New Balance (mostly made in USA models but also sometimes the made in UK models too) were also used. A good starting point is that if a brand wasn't American (only a few exceptions like Moncler) it wouldn't be in the paninaro outfit. Some Italian brands like el charro, stone island, enrico coveri, best company, valentino etc. were also in the outfit. Definitely no UK (fred perry, etc) or German (adidas, etc) brands .

  @@edypiro personally I wasn't into adidas as a kid.. only wore adidas gazelle.. nike new balance were my choice of trainers. Kicker hi tops I wore aged 11 till around 87 at school.. lacoste, burberry, paisley pattern shirts levi 501s and the odd pilot jacket.. never got into the stone island stuff.. only had a few bits stone island marina tshirt n jeans n 1 sweater around 91-92.. Loved my Amanda basi and chipie stuff..
