  Good stuff James! No matter how hard I try, I will NEVER allow myself to buy that Revell pickup. I would get the MR2 and the NuNu BMW M8. I'd just never build them...

  Good show, James! I for one am looking forward to the Indy cars. Not sure that I will pick up every single release, but I’ll definitely be buying multiples of them. The Porsche 962C is already in my Private Warehouse…lol.

  Yeah, I keep going back and forth on the Sato kit. The inclusion of the carbon is sales enhancer for me, but I've never even really looked at that Ebbro McLaren F1 kit again after I tracked down the carbon & illicit sponsor decals.

  Good to see the 32 back, Michael's always had the 5 window, always seemed odd, they must have had a lot in their warehouses, but now I see that they are out of the model car business, great info James, 😎👍

  The '32 5W is in the active Revell catalog, so it's not surprising that it' was staple for a place like Michael's and Hobby Lobby. It's been quite awhile since either the Roadster or 3W have been reissued.

  great re cap of the new kits for this month. That was the best description I have ever heard of the Revell street machine square body pickup. And I can really relate to what you said about the late 70s MPC stuff... cool, but .. too much other stuff to get to. The Liftback Celica looks like one kit i will need to get.

  How do you expect to draw viewers with Stash Project/Report and a random date in the video title.? wouldnt it be more logical to have some version of Scale -Model- Car somewhere in the title? I expect you get more cannabis smokers stumbling on your channel than actual scale modelers...just saying as I appreciate the effort and would like to see your knowledge of the subject more appreciated and discovered

  Again the price difference between revell and Round 2 Kits here in europe is crazy!Revell kits are around max 35 Euro (even the US produced) but the R2 kits are over 47 Euro!guess what kits i bought the last 2 to 3 years?Despite i would like to own a 21 charger ond a Coronet!NAd again not talking about the Salvino Kits rices(getting worse with every month,now 65 Euros)As always great vid and Info!Fujimi kits gets mor and more weired !

  That's more of an artifact of all of Revell being owned by a German company now. They can obviously import their own "U.S." kits at cost to themselves skipping their middleman markup that is killing Round2 and SJR. Although SJR's own price point is their own making brought on by all the complex decal sheets that Cartograf is doing for them.

  @@niteowl7710 But it should be possible for them to import their kits by themselves,skipping the middleman!But i think the US market seems to be enough for them so they dont bother!Sooner or later it wil kill them!What will be very sad!Or maybe Revell will then buy them🙃But btw!the prices for Revell/Monogram Kits were at the same price level when they were imported(some 25 euro) like today even when it wasnt a german company a that time(some 15 years ago).And the prices for AMT kits where around the same price tag at that time,even sometimes cheaper!!So it seems R2 and SJ are effing themselves up!😉

  Yes, but except for a short time in the 2000s Revell GmbH was owned either by Revell U.S. or their owners (aka Hobbico). Revell in Germany is a Tamiya sized company with all of their in-roads in paint, glue, tools, R/C, puzzles, toys, etc. Salvinos JR has a total of 5 employees period. Round2 has a few more than that, but in terms of their model kit "department" it's even less people. The nominal head of Round2's Automotive Kits doesn't even work for them, he's a paid consultant that lives in a different state. Moebius (prior to be purchased by Pegasus) was run by 2 people with a few ad-hock consultants. None of these guys are big enough to be able to afford to open and staff a European Sales/Service Department. Heck even Tamiya which used to have an entire European Division based in Germany gave that up 20 years ago or so and now "Tamiya Europe" is just a handful of places that sell their products.

  Revell: Buyin’ them all. Maybe not the Jeep. AMT Coronet: Buyin’ Hasegawa R32: Maybe Hasegawa 240…I have the Tamiya, is it worth having both? Great vid as always James!

  Tamiya's 240Z is undoubtedly nice, but it's strictly a JDM ZG model with the aero nose and enclosed headlights. This particular kit offers the traditional Z front end and does have LHD dash & wipers if you wanted to build something more Day 2 U.S. Spec.

  a local equipment outfitter for PSP is just down the road so i keep an eye out for anything new or unusual.. it's been grey Durangos and Chargers for a while but lately i'm seeing Durangos going back to the former white scheme.. haven't seen any white Chargers yet but maybe they're coming

  The white Durangos are the newest ones. Once the order on the Gray Chargers is fulfilled, that will be the end of those since 2023 was the last year period of Chargers - at least in the traditional sense. It remains to be scene if Stellantis is planning to offer a law enforcement package on the new EV/Gas I-6 Charger platforms since it'll be mid-late 2025 before a sedan format will be offered.

  To all newbies of the model hobbies, use the thinners that are meant for the paint you have chosen. This false economy of cheap craft paint being used on a $100.00 kit, I cannot understand. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION. Enjoy watch you two banter away, cheers.

  ZoomOn carries them, and so does SpotModel. They're not the cheapest sheet in the world by any stretch, but they're out there in the wild.

  my old club when I lived there. great bunch of members. I now live further north and am with the MAMA's club but try and make it down there for their show. missed it 2023 due to a wedding. but plan on being there this year.

  Revell usually likes to get two body style variations out of an all-new tool, I wonder if there's going to be an '80s squarebody C-10 pickup coming? Preferably a Fleetside with 2wd parts and all the low-series work truck parts already tooled for that municipal Blazer. (it always bothered me that there was a scene where Hopper and Mike were fighting over the power windows, it should have cranks).

  The Cop-Car-Kit Curse strikes again. Just as with the Lindberg '97 Crown Vic and Revell 2005 Impala, the model kit arrives just as the real car goes out of production (or in the two earlier cases was heavily restyled).
