  What size did you wear with the first dress? I’m usually a large but when I wear anthropology, I’m a size medium and I heard this brand runs like anthropologies so I’m just trying to wonder if I should get a medium or a large because I am a little busty.

  Hey thanks for asking! I sized up in the first dress to an XL. I usually wear a large at Anthropologie and now that I have tried on a lot more Farm Rio I can say that large is my usual size there. I will say - the XL is a bit too large in the bust area for me (but I am small chested) so your usual size may be fine. I found the XL to fit me better around my ribs/waist than the large, which is why I sized up. It’s an EPIC dress, though, I have gotten so many compliments every time I have worn it.

  But if people are able to sell their shein pieces on poshmark, then they will be more likely to buy more from Shein. I agree that if you find it at the thrift store, then it's ok to buy but I'm note sure it's the same buying it from online sellers. Just a thought. Love the video. The bob mackie shirt is beautiful.

  This is a great consideration. I think this really speaks to the complexity of the issue. I do think that selling a fast fashion item on Poshmark does still prevent textile waste (more so than donating, since lots of donations are discarded immediately) so that is a win. But I agree very much that purchasing those items at a thrift store is better all around vs. buying from an individual. My hope is that people continue to see the value of buying higher end and more sustainable garments second hand will help steer them clear from places like SHEIN and still find unique items on budget. Thanks for contributing to the convo - I really appreciate hearing your thoughts!

  My take so far (at least for this year and last years collections) is that the linen items tend to run smaller (I have been glad that I sized up in these) but the other materials are true to size. Overall the brand has run TTS for me- but the occasional item doesn’t have much stretch or is cut a bit more narrow. In the case of fabric w/o stretch, going up by one size has been great.

  It looks like they aren’t adding it to the newer listings- so that’s unfortunate. On some items it is on the main page right next to the description - but I see it on less items than when I was last on their site. Hopefully they update!

  I have an odd question for you…… I've never worked or sold or bought from any of the online retailers similar to thread up, Etsy, Poshmark, etc. my quick question is how does that work? I have a couple of slightly higher end bags that I would be interested in selling to them, but I'm not sure how that works.

  Thanks for asking! I should make a video comparing the different platforms because I think a lot of people have the same question. Here is a super brief breakdown of the main ones that I shop/sell on. Poshmark- peer to peer sales, meaning you list it, ship it, etc. This is great if you want to sell only for a certain price because you have more control. eBay is the same in those regards, but is less user-friendly (the listing website is pretty complex on eBay.) ThredUP is thrift and consignment, so you send your items and then they pick what they will sell. If you want items back that they don’t select, you can get them for an extra fee. You can select the price of your item, but there is a time limit for it to sell. ThredUP is really easy to sell through, but I have always made less money on there than on the other platforms. The Real Real is consignment for designer items only. They do the listing for you, but you may not make as much because of that. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching.

  Love the pattern mixing idea! And yes, it’s such a bummer that the dressing rooms are gone. They cited customer safety as a concern- but it could be lack of staff, or they are worried about theft, I think. I tend to wear things that I can try other items on over- but sometimes you just have to guess and hope!

  You did an excellent job with the RTR try on. I have been a member since 2011 and strayed away for awhile but your video reminded my why I love RTR so much. Thank you for mentioning that you are 5'10. There are many tall gals out here that can never find pants or dresses that are long enough. I hoping you do a tall gal haul from different designers in the near future.
