I agree about fast fashion, I will pick up 2nd hand but not buy new.

I love old navy from thrift stores! I found a vintage SILK old navy tank top at the bins in a chinoiserie pattern. Seriously!

But if people are able to sell their shein pieces on poshmark, then they will be more likely to buy more from Shein. I agree that if you find it at the thrift store, then it's ok to buy but I'm note sure it's the same buying it from online sellers. Just a thought. Love the video. The bob mackie shirt is beautiful.

This is a great consideration. I think this really speaks to the complexity of the issue. I do think that selling a fast fashion item on Poshmark does still prevent textile waste (more so than donating, since lots of donations are discarded immediately) so that is a win. But I agree very much that purchasing those items at a thrift store is better all around vs. buying from an individual. My hope is that people continue to see the value of buying higher end and more sustainable garments second hand will help steer them clear from places like SHEIN and still find unique items on budget.
