I picture the major scale as a pattern at whatever root/key I’m at and it helps me know where the 1, 4, 5, octave, etc are. Playing the 1 and 5 have two basic ways, ones an “inversion” of the other. Knowing where you can play both forms for the various notes and picturing that helps you know where to go. :)

Can someone please tell me what style this is or where I can find music very similar to this style.? I look up country fiddle music and can never find all these harmonies and songs like this style it’s always the violin style I don’t like. AYYYOOOOOOO I HAVE THE GREATEST NEWS OF ALL TIME FOR YOU ALL!!!! everybody NEEDS to know this yo! please read closely with an open mind, and most importantly, an open and soft heart :333 to anyone who is reading this, if you are unsure of who you are or if you are going to heaven read this: without JESUS , we are all doomed to eternity in hell! but with HIM and because of HIS sacrifice for us when HE died on the cross and rose again, we can have eternal life in heaven!!! GOD created all things, that includes you, and loves you dearly. you are a creation of GOD , and you can be a child of GOD too yo :3 Romans 10:9 tells us that if we openly confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and if we believe in our hearts that GOD raised JESUS CHRIST from the dead, then we will be saved! we will be welcomed into our true home. pray this prayer with me, “thank YOU JESUS for YOUR love. LORD JESUS, i confess that YOU and YOU alone are GOD, and that YOU are LORD OVER ALL THINGS. i realize now that i have made mistakes, i have sinned, but now i have also learned of YOUR good news. YOU took all of my sins and all of my shortcomings and died on the cross for me so that my sin would be put to death also. but YOU did not stay dead. GOD rose YOU from the dead, and i believe this with all that i am. i believe this with all of my heart. LORD JESUS, i repent of my sins, and i thank YOU for YOUR forgiveness for me. i thank YOU for all of YOUR love for me and for everyone that i love. please teach me how to love and trust YOU with all my heart, mind, body, soul, spirit, and strength. please teach me to follow YOUR ways and glorify YOU and YOU alone, LORD JESUS. i pray this in JESUS CHRIST’S HOLY NAME, amen.” you are saved now! go and tell people about it! read The Bible and learn more about JESUS, find a good church that challenges you, and most of all: praise JESUS CHRIST! (if you don’t know where to start in The Bible, try John! i personally really like Matthew as well, or just start at Genesis, the beginning!) JESUS loves you yo <3 May the grace and peace that comes from GOD THE FATHER and JESUS CHRIST our LORD and SAVIOR be upon you.

Not a violin player here, but I noticed that he twists the bow on it's side during his stroke, especially towards the bottom of the stroke. Is that normal and a necessary part of getting the incredible sound that he gets?
