Most guys are using trt as a steroid supplement and don’t actually have low testosterone levels. they can say their doctor prescribed it because their numbers were on the lower side but it’s a huge range for normal and they all are on the upper end of that normal if not over it.

I am a 61 year old male with what I assume is low T. I have zero libido. I'm not depressed and seem to have enough energy to accomplish my daily routine but know that something is off. I no longer have that drive or interest in the opposite sex that I've had all my life and which motivated me to work hard and play hard (no pun intended) About 7 years ago, I was on testosterone cypionate injections every 10 days as well as subcutaneous injections of HGH for about 18 months with 3 days in the gym and running twice a week (5 miles downhill) and felt the best I've felt since I was 18-20 years old and lifting 3 days a week. I'm interested in the cream but am not interested in losing hair. You mentioned that DHT levels rise more with cream than they do with injections so, to be honest, this is holding me back. I'm a young 61, still ride a motorcycle, downhill ski and have clear skin and a full head of hair that I do not want to lose, any suggestions or could you maybe explain better why this may be wrong think? Sincerely, New subscriber

He's an actor, 100%. If not only for that, because there's a conflict of interrest way too obvious (he's promoting a product). For the rest, there's many hints. For example he can't be distracted in the middle of his speech (he has it in one given order and can't be asked random questions). For another we see he's been taught about symptoms but doesn't know them in reality (PFS is not erectile dysfunction ; it is pelvic numbness and psychiatric symptoms ; muscular and cognitive symptoms, etc). ED comes last as a mere consequence. It is absolutely irresponsible to advice TRT for PFS sufferers. Most of them will crash further. Don't pay attention to that SOB and focus on documenting and reporting your symptoms, prosecuting the industry/manufacturers, and following the science (Melcangi's team in Milano and Urbanucci's innitiative in Finaland (Tampere & Kiel). This guy is making a living as an actor. He probably doesn't know the harm he's doing. PFS is a deregulation at molecular (epigenetic) level of the steroid receptors. At best TRT might help symptomatically but on no way cure it (and it's way to hazardous).

long term hypothyroidism/hashimoto patient here. most things Dave Lee says is not true. you need properly dosed T4, not NDT or any kind of such product, because you cannot dose it, because with NDT, you TSH goes out of wack, and is not useful for dosing anymore (TSH->TRH). and NDT has a wrong T4:T3 ratio, because it is not of a human origin. Lastly, people with hashimoto has to start with T4, even when having TSH, FT4 normal values, not NDT. you guys don't know what are you talking about edit: you need to take T4, because T4 is directly converted to FT4 by D2 in your frontal lobe. I could hold you lectures edit 2: you are not right about not having adverse efects when taking too much T4/T3, as I have afib due to long term overdosage TSH around 0.4-.0.5 is definitely not healthy
