  Both great but I think I prefer the Brian version actually. That said the Freddie version of “Too much live will kill you” is way better in MHO

  Being a long time early Queen fan and reminicing with "News of The World" ( forgot how good this album was) and everything before, I finally realize and proclaim with this song, and Brian singing the vocals that, the real Queen was a unique highly talented team effort heavily infuenced by Brian and the rest, just as much as Freddies persona and presence. As much as Freddie brought to this band it was not his band. That is what makes long haired Freddie Queen the real Queen. You want the hijacked version of Freddies Queen then listen to everything after "News Of The World" and the changing of the guard and commercial crap in the 80's 🤬🤬🤬🤬...long hair Freddie Queen is the real Queen and Brian should have walked after "NOTW" and taken back the band along with Roger and John but unfortunately I think that John and Roger already had fallen in line with Freddie......by the way Brian singing the vocals on this song is the song in my heart.....if I hear that disco influenced "Another One Bites The Dust" and the over played "Champions" one more time it will be to soon....I closed the book on Queen in 1977 R.I.P. ....one more thing let's not forget that Freddie asked and auditioned to join "Smile" aka "Queen" in the early 70's because he recognized the talent in that band

  Freddie and Brian both killed it singing this. But the band chose Brians vocals for a reason and that should be enough for us to be satisfied with.

  Brian for the win here. His more limited vocal range works better, this being a slow and melancholic track. Plus been listening to the original since the late 1970's.

  very interesting but Brian really captured what the vocals needed to be. Freddie is just too powerful and active as a singer to capture the subtleness needed here. glad they put Brian's version on the Album.
