Regarding warranties. Bought my BMW 2 years ago. The same day I got delivery, it was blocked on the dealer's ground for 3 weeks. Time for what I was told, software updates... what I felt was too much time, so certainly something got changed in between. Also got another couple of hickups on the first couple of months, like missing the boot foot sensor, a set of EGR and its cooler replacement. And a camera that keeps getting dirty and malfunctions. Although, never left me stranded or lower performance. But some sort of mishappens due to some lower quality products from maybe cheap suppliers. And like mine, I've seen some others going up to dealerships for the same "updates".

27:12 etc. Are you gonna keep your eyes on the road at 65mph or are you gonna look and try to poke at the right 1.5 inch square on the stupid monitor. If you injure someone while doing that, what, say oops? Also, casting large parts of a car only makes it easier to end up with an insurance total loss. I'll pass. For that kind of cash I'd be starting to look seriously at a big $75k Mercedes Benz sedan and drive with a smile on my face. ...oh, and I'LL open and close MY car doors, thank you.

The cost to maintain my 2015 Spark EV over nine years and 66,000 miles has been four tires ($300), eight pair of wiper blades ($270), and two cabin air filters ($24), total: $594.

US government thinks locking yourself in the house and pretending the competitions don’t exist is a strategy. US is just 4% of the global population. The other 95% want cars too and they’re not buying a Ford Mustang. Compete or die. Bring it on or go home. Since when Americans are chicken shit.

The range shown for the Xpeng G6 is using China's CLTC, while Model Y range looks to be WLTP.

China is winning the hearts of middle and lower middle class consumers. An EV with this quality at a decent price is a mercy and kindness from China. But, the Western capitalists are not happy when they see poor people driving a car of thst class.

I bet most of those that want to go back to ICE vehicles are non Tesla owners. The brand and EV ownership satisfaction surveys prove this assumption.

Hydrogen is a poor substitute for gasoline or diesel fuel. Using hydrogen to power a fuel cell makes a lot more sense. This is explained very well on the KZread channel, Engineering Explained.

46% of horse-less carriage drivers wanted to go back to their horse in early 1900s. Gasoline was difficult to find and questionable quality; horses can eat grass anywhere! Also, McKinsey is the company that said the global cell phone market would never surpass 1M units. Disruptive innovation can’t be modeled in Excel no matter how much you bill per hour.

Think about all theTesla employees that were fired to keep the stock price at a level to where Musk could justify his pay; especially the Super Charging Dept. Quite frankly,...I think Tesla would do better without Musk. If Musk was so smart, he would have never sold or traded the Tesla technology and manufacturing methods to the Chinese 👈🏾 Tim Cook did the same thing and now Apple cannot exist without China. China is not worried about Apple finding a new girlfriend in India!

first car: 800 volt vs 400v does not give you more range. Voltage is not energy (kwh). If this is the explanation for higher range it's a fallacy. I question the range claim based on the battery capacity, unless the airodynamics are way better than Tesla's (no not even plausible)

But how fast is fast charging? For a car with a big pack that could charge at 250 kW, if the charger can only do 125 kW, that may not stress the car's battery and system that much. Also, are we charging to 70%, 90%, or what? And at what temperature? And so on. Need more information.

America is in an information warfare waged by oil producers and companies against EV’s to make sure that they don’t become the mainstream. China is progressing very fast in EV technology and infrastructure while we are busy singing drill baby drill. Average American drives less than 40 miles a day and if one is going out of town just rent a gasoline car and will be fine .
