When I first saw it 8 years ago, I thought it was built in the 1800's and then I went in and saw the pictures and found out the truth. Beautiful post office. What is the history of the Paris building?

@@FindingNorcal Downtown. I think it is across from the Theatre. They have been redoing it, at least on the outside but I believe on the inside too for about a year now. When you see it, you will know the building. The sign on the corner of the building says, "Paris".

Loved this April! Amazing scenes of this Architectural Cathedral of Snail Mail! Almost a metaphor too as mail really does become less and less used with Social Media all around in so many different forms and varieties! Sadly I believe Stamps will not be needed in the future! Those Green Numbers are for Official Postal Use Only! I'm betting IF I had enough Drakes Cakes, I could get NEWMAN from Seinfeld to divulge the Secrets about The Green Numbers! The Abandoned Marysville Hotel just got gutted by fire night before last... sorry.. My Dad was honorably discharged July 4th 1945 Camp Beale...he said Marysville was a hopping little town. Born in Anaheim in 1918 he retired in Oroville.

Been in a few Tremors out on The Left coast and two here in Cow Town Ohio believe it or not! I'm of a mind that being "Stocked and Loaded for Bear" before the chit flies is a no brainer. But most importantly is to "try" to stay calm if and when Nature's Toilet Flushes! 🤣 This video is awesome April! You are in fact helping others to "get prepared" already by suggesting things that can be done now, before we are "sitting on the crapper" and then see that the toilet roll is empty! But for me my #1 Rule in anything is to take a deep breath and take command of the situation EVEN if all hell is breaking loose! Great Topic April! Not for the booze...but simply because of the artistry of these relic bars! Most outside had a basic feel and look about them. Once you entered some, it was almost Cathedral Like in appearance! Some were so off the top Royal Looking. Of course, you can't help but chuckle at the ones that we ALL envision in our heads when we hear the word "Seedy"🤣 THOSE were my go to places when I was an invincible buck back in the day! I'm pretty sure I'd have fit in back in The Wild West. I'm actually grateful I survived my brawling and drinking years. LOVED that photo @ 5:22 of ALL HANDS ON DECK in getting that Bar put back up😂 But the one @ 6:01 of the walls of bottles reminds me of a video you did a year or so ago where we saw a building built of almost all bottles too! Playing in Two fast pitch softball leagues this Summer( might have bit off too much too 🤣but having fun and doing really good too!
