  I failed several times at the "flip and look for V" part, I did not get it and cannot for the life of me find the proper position. I tried a few times and ended up destroying the yarn instead :(

  Is this supposed to be a crop? I followed your instructions and realised (too late, sadly) that the length of the sweater is quite short.. :/ Is there a way for me to fix this and make the length longer?

  So, like in row 4 when you mention 3 HDC and 1 increase that means I’ll do 3 stitches in the first hole and then 4 in the second, and go 3 x 4 x 3 x 4 and so on? Does “increase” mean one more in every other hole in addition the stablished number of HDCs? Sorry, my grandma taught me to crochet and she didn’t teach me any of the fancy terms 😅

  Either I'm doing something wrong or I can't count, but for row 2 of the brim I do 6hdc then increase but the last repetition of that doesn't make it all the way around - I think I stop at the 5th hdc before it goes to the next row?

  Amazing video!! Okay so I am absolutely new into knitting but I do crochet tho! Also super scared of knitting! As a newbie what kind of needle should I buy? Circular or the straight needle?   my chain is looking a bit twisty. I feel like it's because I had to put my loop back on my hook sometimes and accidentally switched sides but I'm not sure?

  My back seam is leaning instead of straight. I did end up using half doubles to make it better for wearing without tights or leggings. Is that why? Its not a huge deal, but I'm curious if there's something I'm doing wrong.
