Buffalo is a football town. At least currently with Josh Allen. Sabres are not doing well. We don’t need or want an NBA team. The NBA is barely watchable now besides Seth.
Can you do a video on the coyotes relocation and if you do when will it happen?
Please do one on the Arizona Coyotes
For sure, it’s high up on my to do list!
It was better back then
This'll save you 15 minutes. They lost in the play-offs two years in a row to the team that wound up winning the Super Bowl, so the owner got butt-hurt, fired Bum Phillips and eventually sold the team.
Thanks, that was gonna be 15 minutes of my life I’d never get back!
@@AllSportsHistory, yeah, I'm a bitter Luv Ya Blue Houstonian. Evan after all this time. I'm still pissed at Bud. Honestly, I haven't cared to watch NFL football since the Raiders and Redskins Super Bowl.
My grandfather worked in the front office for the Brooklyn Dodgers. It was well known Roy had a serious problem with alcohol & frequently drove shit-faced. The true story - the Dodgers paid to have buried- was never to see the light. The truth is he was driving while guzzling a colt 45. One of his white mistresses was giving him head & came so hard in her face, his head snapped back in ecstasy caused his paralysis. The white broad was identified as Duke Synders 16 year old daughter. Hence the cover up
Atlanta fan base sucks! Zero loyalty I think it has to do with culture
Bad revolving door ownership and Lou Nanne one of the worst GM's in NHL history.
2010: *PHOENIX COYOTES* 2024: *UTAH COYOTES* 😂
The irony is that somewhere in an alternate universe the Sonics were bought and kept in Seattle by Steve Ballmer while Porky Bennett purchased and moved the team formerly known as the Los Angeles Clippers to that cow pasture of a NBA city. The late David Stern was totally a huge player in the Sonics relocation. Seattle needs the Sonics back NOW 🏀
I suspect one reason why the Expos failed to attract a large fan base was changing demographics. When the Expos started playing, Montreal had a relatively large English-speaking community and they were the ones who most supported the team. But over time, more and more Anglophiles starting leaving Montreal. As a result, support for the Expos withered on the vine. Since baseball is not a French-Canadian sport (how many French-Canadian professional baseball players have there been?), it would not be feasible to bring MLB baseball back to Montreal.
Memphis was too ghetto of a city for NBA. The team have had immediate success in Louisville Kentucky much like okc
hey instead of an 18 minute video, i will answer your question now. THEY MOVED TO DENVER! i only tapped on the vid to clear that up for you. smh what a stupid video
The original USFL was done in by the ego of convicted felon Donald Trump.
Please do one on the Cleveland Rockers
Please do one on the Seattle Kraken
Please do one on the Vegas Golden Knights
91 cup run still my favorite memory. An amazing, improbable, and great underdog story to this day. I used to wonder how it would have played out had they pulled off the miracle and won it, but sadly I don't anything would have changed.
I use to have tecmo bowl tournaments with my friends I always had my 49ers we were unstoppable
The Expos should never have left Montreal. The MLB let the team fail, and helps at times - like refusing to allow the team to expand to 40 players in September 2003 when they had a chance for the playoffs. I still say that the Tampa Bay Rays should move to Montreal and become the 'new' Expos. They would attract more people being in the same division as the Toronto Blue Jays (a 'natural rivalry' just like in the NHL and the CFL) but also with the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. The Montreal Canadiens have a good rivalry with the Boston Bruins in the NHL and the Yankees tend to attract people to the ballpark - so having three 'quality' opponents in the division helps.
New video idea: “What happened to the Arizona Coyotes?”
I have a couple I’m working on, but this is high up on my list!
Went once. They beat the Cubs 3-2. 3rd base side not that far behind the plate. Beautiful day in the city.
As a Stars fan, I cherish the North Stars. They crawled so the Dallas Stars could walk / run. And the fact that people still hate the Stars for this reason makes me Glad they’re in Dallas where they’re supported.

So, the relocation of the Sonics represented a paradigm shift for the NBA and their relationship with markets. The relocation was ugly, shady as fuck, even. David Stern was a vindictive prick, and when the Washington State legislature didn’t bend to his wishes, he took it personally. He learned that Seattle was a useful bludgeon for teams in need of new arenas "pony up the cash for a new arena, or we'll move your team to Seattle." What's how the Kings, Bucks, and others all got their shiny new arenas on the public dime. We all knew that even while Adam Silver took over as Commissioner, so long as David Stern lived, there would be no professional Men's basketball in Seattle. Ever since that move from Seattle, there have been very few relocations in the NBA. It may seem like they are charitable, but small markets are easier to exploit with the threat of relocation. It's why most recently, OKC voters approved a measure to fund a new arena on 99% public money. They are publicly funding an arena for a billionaire.
as a member of the parking lot crew I was up set with the fan's we set up the parking lot are way and the fans did it there way then we got blamed for the way the lot turned out so we gave up people thought thay could park in the basement with NORM and the ambulance there where two spaces that was it we parked in the lot with everyone else.
I now have the kickoff return, fumble, recovery and first down music stuck in my head.
funny how the "Original Six" only has TWO Canadian teams, yet some many people (esp Canadians) think hockey and NHL is a Canadian sport, lol
well the seasion ticket holders got frunt row parking and the rest were parked in the rest of the lot so my staff had a real chalange to keep thring's strate worked for one seasion and left the stares we where alowed to see the game free after the second period to the end
4:39 - 4:44 this is my favourite song (also what is this song?)
Thanks! Its a song I created using GarageBand for my videos. I actually created all of the background songs, so I wouldn’t get copyright strikes for music haha.
@@AllSportsHistory wow I didn’t know you made your songs on GarageBand. smart move! :D
Good video. Thanks
Glad you liked it!
I had no idea about any of this. Thank you.
You’re welcome!
Those are the most 2001 team logos I've ever seen
That's what makes them amazing...
In March 2025, Montreal Baseball Group, led by Stephen Bronfman and Mitch Garber, will pay an expansion fee of $2 billion to award an expansion franchise to Montreal, with play to begin in the 2028 MLB season, so the new Montreal franchise will again be known as the Expos. In September 2025, Montreal Baseball Group will purchase a 20-acre land where Stade IGA (formerly Jarry Park Stadium) will be closed and demolished to make room for the new ballpark for the 2nd incarnation of the Expos. In November 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 2nd incarnation of the Expos' new ballpark will occur on the Stade IGA site.
