I know this man has passed away in a tragic accident, but I'm hoping his children look at these and remember the great man their father was. His driving skill on these rough trails/roads make it look so very easy which highlights his skill all the more. RIP Mr. Goff!

The X3000 is a great camera. I bought mine after I got fed up with all the issues my GoPro Hero 7 kept having. I'd never go back to GoPro again. I never realised about the USB power option as I have a similar battery pack but didn't know I could record while powering the camera from it.. I only ever used mine for charging the camera while it was in my bag. Thanks for such a great detailed video Chad.

JFC man! Every time you chose to keep your boots dry at the risk of going off the edge.....I kept leaning to my left in my desk chair!! I'm gonna be doing all the passes (including Black Bear) this summer. I am afraid of heights. I will be GLUED to the left tire track. I will have Dude Wipes up my butt as well! Great video and riding BTW. Nice relaxed pace. Can't wait...but kinda can...haha!

Chad - For a guy stuck in WI, your moto vids are a treat. I often watch them while I'm passing time on the treadmill. One time you got close the edge and I fell off. Probably a tell-tale sign I should not attempt what you have done here. ;) That said, I often ponder what you brought along on these rides for tending to flat tires. Any info appreciated. Hope this note finds you well on a snowy WI day. Best, Michael

I realize this was a while ago but man what a fun ride to watch! I am about to get an adventure bike and start doing trips like this, based in Ohio. I am actually looking at an older XR650L, why I ended up on this video. Do you still ride this bike or have you moved on? Can you give a quick pro/con on the XR? Thanks!

As a fellow XR650L rider I must complement you sir for tackling Brown Pants Pass. I'm in CA, and we have a mountain ride here that is on par with this one. Maybe not as well known or as tall (nearly 12,000') but on par nonetheless. I got to a point where I just couldn't go any further with the bike. Wouldn't it be something if Honda could manufacture a dual sport bike with a gear splitter kinda like the one in the old trail bikes? My problem on these steep roads is always the gearing. With a low crawler gear it would be much easier. I have a RZR now and I can drive right up it with one hand on the wheel.

Off road parks are some of the most dangerous places you can go on a bike ! be smart..stay away ! too many people are sent to the ER because of collisions with other riders that didn't know you were there.
