Thank you so much for sharing. I am struggling with colorwork. Your sweaters are beautiful ❤❤❤
Greetings from Colorado. I watched all three parts. Fantastic, especially the cast on method, the bind off and how you distributed the spaces evenly! I learned so much! I have knitted a few aran design sweaters and would like to knit my first icelandic design...i picked a pattern today and ordered the wool. I an going to try to adjust my knitting style away from my usual "throw the yarn with my right hand" and keep the working yarn(s) on the left. The only question I have is what to do when its too many stitches away when picking up the original color after working another color(s)? Did I miss the explanation of that?
Thank you for this tutorial. It's very helpful. When you're picking up the knit stiches from the waste yarn, it seems like you knit the first stitch regularly, but you're knitting the second picked-up stitch through the back loop. Is this on purpose? Is there any difference in the final result?
Woah, this is so cool, never seen it done this way. 😮 I am always still amazed by the things I find on KZread. I think I’ve seen it all then I learn something new. Thank you, Yuha!
This is awesome! Thanks for the good tutorial ❤
Thank you for your video. Greetings from Australia.
Thank you for taking the time to put this little series of tutorials together. I have purchased your pattern and start to knit this pattern
your instructions are very clear. it is a great tutorial. Thank you
I have ordered yarn from Hobii and have found the whole process easy and fast . I also love their products and would highly recommend. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Dear Yuha I'm abundantly grateful for your step-by-step guidance, your knowledge sharing and comforting us new knitters ❤❤ I've completed this pattern of your icelanduc sweater, XXL size, my own measurement. Everything came out perfect except that it became oversized width wise. Can you please guide me trim this sweater. I love this sweater Knitted foe sister with full of love. Please 🙏 🙏 🙏
great tutorial! if i wanted to make this into a turtleneck can I simply add more rows to the neck ribbing?
but how did you decide on 116 st in the first place? how do you measure?
I tried to do mosaic crochet design blanket with the looapayse yarns and it kept separating and coming apart. What a nightmare. It’s very scratchy. Maybe shouldn’t crochet with it, only knit?
Hi Yuha, I was wondering if this technique would be possible to do on cuffs and hems?
Thank you for this video,I also saw it on your Lopapeysa tutorial. I tried this tubular cast on and it worked and looked great. However I have one criticism, and that is , (in my case anyway) the result was not as stretchy and elastic as I hoped it would be. I don’t profess to be an expert knitter, but I generally turn out a fairly good result. I will try it again to see if I can improve flexibility by easing my tension a bit. Thanks again .
I love your Moose sweater! Thank you for sharing. The area you live is rugged and beautiful, I don't like warm/hot weather and the climate for me would be perfect! ❤
Hi, this tutorial was very helpfull. Where can I find the tutorial for front, back en deviding for sleeves?
Very detailed but simple explanation… thank you.
Hi! This is my first time knitting a sweater and I found your video is so helpful for me. However I have one question, I follow your pattern and I knit size S, when I move to the body part and finish the rib your pattern did not mention adding more sts. And in your video, you added 6 sts more. So I wonder what should I do in this case? Thanks a lot!
Só beautiful!!!!! Thank you.❤
I have taken so much joy from this series, even before I have begun to knit a stitch of this raglan sweater. What a treat it is to have you come to teach. Thank you so much!
Such a wonderfully wearable sweater which I will be so proud to make!
So confusing 😢
I really enjoy the way you present your patterns. I'm coming back to knitting after a lifetime (50+) years and many of the techniques I knew in my teens I have forgotten. And some ways of doing things have changed to be more efficient. I now have grandsons who would love these sweaters and your patterns and instructions are inspiring. I always look forward to your videos. Thank you so much!!
Thank you for these amazing instructions. Always enjoy you videos.
Brilliant! Thank you.
Hello! I am from India! Am fond of chrocheting. I want to make a cardigan for myself. If enough armhole length is reached but the bust contour is not reached, what should I do? How to adjust the bust size? Should I continue further until its size is reached? Then I am afraid of that the armhole would be too loose. Please clear my doubts.
I was JUST thinking about you yesterday! It must be fate, I am so glad to see this and so glad to see you! The whales are adorable :-)
Row 1: Slip Purl stitch with yarn in front purl wise, Knit the Knit stitch Row 2: Purl then slip knit stitch with yarn in back purl wise Row 3: same as row 1 Row 4: same as row 2
You're amazing! thank you - giving the power back to the knitter 😃
Thank you. Lovely vlog. I love finding out about knitters from different countries. Always interesting. Thank you 💕🌿
I want t9 make it in a size 4xl. 140cm in a circle. How do I do that? I love the patern😊
thank you so very much for this tutorial I have learned so much. I have never cast on the way you do with half the stitches .. it looks so neat I will be attempting it. thank you
Comprehensive and short tutorial!😁
Hello. The sweater is beautiful. Sweet. I would only change the cuffs in the sleeves to blue, but that is my opinion. I will make such a sweater from the top because it is very easy. I really like sweaters with raglan sleeves. You explain the entire process of making a sweater very thoroughly. I subscribed to your channel. Greetings from Poland. Aleksandra.
Could someone explain to me if your neckline is 80 stitches, does that mean you cast on 40 stitches and join in round and do 1 x1 that will become 80 stitches. sorry I dont understand much of this knitting.
Hi! First of all thanks for your awesome patterns! I love them and I learned a lot from you! 2nd Did I just hear your husband(?) singing in Dutch? I am Dutch and it sounded like he was singing something about a “lente lied” a song about spring? Greetings!
Если нить в игле так рушится, я ее подкручивая до первоначального состояния
👌😍😍😍♥️♥️♥️
Thank you. This is a really concise tutorial. I understand all your instructions, thanks to your clarity. I did notice that you are purling through the back loop on the increase stitches. Is that necessary? Or is it your preferred method? I’m a bit late to this knitting party however, better late than never 😊. I’m enjoying your colour choices too. Thanks again.
Do you perhaps have a pattern for a 6 -8 year old child please
Where do you buy your yarn? Is it by post and how long must you wait?
Hi, I like your method very much for knitting in the round. Can this method be used when knitting flat? Could you make a video explaining that?
What in the holy moly my nanny never taught me that!
How do you make the yarn end look so clean? With plastic needle?
This so good! BUT how do you weave in the yarn end to make it look clean?
You can weave it inside the edge of the rib, it will be completely invisible 😀
Tank you so veryy much, especially for also showing how to join in the round!
Thanks for your explanation. Can you please explain how you came up with the dividing raglan. Thanks again
What a tidy cuff ❤
