I was also wondering if perhaps you would consider creating a separate video that focuses on casting OFF a ribbed neckline? I’ve been using your cast on for ribbing for several projects now and it’s the best one yet that I’ve come across in 30 years of knitting. I know that you’ve shown how to do it as part of a project before (I think for a child’s sweater or something like that) but a dedicated video would be really awesome! Thank you so much for your videos, they are clear and beautiful.

How did you get the ribbing? Please do a video from casting on to making the neck band and the use of the stitch markers. A real beginner video. I am proficient at crochet but new to learning how to knit.

Great to find your channel and newly subscribed. 🤩 One question: Do you still make short rows for lifting back neckline afterward, or by using this method the back neckline could be automatically lifted higher?

This is great but I have a couple of questions, if that’s ok. Did you do the purl row at the end because you were casting off? I’m a bit confused about why one would have a purl row in a jumper, unless it’s part of the design. Or is one then supposed to flip it around and the purl stitches are on the “inside”?

Good question! Because this way purl row gives the neckband look like it was sewn. Of course one can use knit row instead, it will look great too 👍🏻

Thank you so much for this video! I'm just wondering how this method can be used in a bottom up pullover. Is it possible?
