    Had a similar problem and i changed the mass air flow sensor and it worked perfectly for me

    Doubt it. MAF sensor has nothing to do with oil pressure. Nothing.

    Im having the same problem as well with my escalade i was told by somedy else the same thing about the mass air flow sensor.. your was showing the oil pressure low as well????

    My fuel pump woul shit off randomly in my 2016. Turned out it was a short in the guage cluster. It 200% could be a short somewhere in your electrical system. The Mass airflow s would be your problem. Only way to know is unfortunately to take hours testing the whole system

    NO NO NO. THE REAL PROBLEM IS THE O RING. TAKE DOWN THE OIL PAN THERE IS A TUBE THE SUCK OIL UP TO THE PUMP THERE IS ONE SCREW TO TAKE OUT 10MM VERY EASY CHANGE THE O RING ON THE TUBE. SPECIALLY IF YOUR GM IS OVER 5 YEARS OLD. ALSO YOU GET TO CLEAN THE OIL PAN ANT TUBE FILTER ( VITAL) THE PRESSURE WILL GO BACK TO NORMAL. DON'T WASTE MONEY ON FLUIDS THE PROBLEM IS YOUR O RING. MINE GOT DONE RECENTLY A FULL CLEAN UP AND NEW O RING (ENGINE HAS NO SOUNDS AND EVEN PERFORMS BETTER BECAUSE IT HAD THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF OIL BY DEMAND.

    every oil change sub a quart with marvel mystery oil.. evrytime you drain your oil its gona come out dark.. thats marvel cleaning and lubing.. i have 125k on mine been doing since first oil change. and twice a year once begining spring and once before winter i do 2/3 of seafoam in oil right before oil change drive highway for 2o min.. drain oil... only issue i had @ just over 100k was the intake manifold gasket.. did my valve covers while i was in there .. those lifters still looked new.. corsa cold air.. flowmaster duals.. and diablo tune.. shes fast but i still baby it.. no need to dawg it..

    @@HotRed00 still going strong at 220k, hi flow oil pump. Still idles like new and runs new. Reg maintenance schedule

    That is either a misfire or an exhaust leak

    It's neither. Look at the rest of the comments. Engine was blown. Totally ate the lifter valley and the block could not be rebuilt. From the machine shop that does a lot of other work for me so I trust them. Not my first rebuild from them.

    Yes. See problem solution below. You're going to have to pull that oil pressure sensor as soon as possible. If you let it go until you start hearing engine rattle, you can kiss your engine goodbye.

    TEXAZPITBULL it's the pump. I just done my o8 it's not hard just time Consumin only Special tool needed is a pulley puller witch you can rent don't even have to drain the oil. new pump and timing gasket set hardest thing is the oil sump bolt.

    dmxmike2 hey mine oil lights came on few mins after running.. stick has oil..says 67%.. can my pump be going or sensor??

    +carlos maldonado Yes, it turned out to really be low oil pressure. I had to replace my engine. $8,500. The oil pressure relief valve is a non-return spring system on the front of your cam. If the truck sits for months at a time, this area gets sludgy, builds up sludge and blockage back to the #1 cam journal, which then kills the #1 lifter valley and destroys the block. Unrepairable, have to have an entire new engine not just a rebuild.

    Hmmm I’m sure you used conventional on something that uses Mobil 1 synthetic or, equivalent.
