  Still a better game than cities skylines, in my eyes. It actually feels like a 'game', where the goal is to have 'fun' and you control your own little miniature model city that is alive. Skylines is just architectural rendering software patched together with a transport sim. Wish they'd bring Simcity back, you guys know how to make a proper city builder.

  Reading all the optimistic comments in this trailer a decade after this catastrophe was released is like walking into an abandoned town after the apocalypse and finding posters for a fun event planned for the same day.

  Wow, looks great! I can't imagine how great this SimCity will be after how amazing 3000 and 4 were, if they kept the same people in charge as the last ones then it would be amazing and there wouldn't be any awkwardly shoehorned in social features by a investors' board committee!

  Sucks that Simcity ended development here. I really hoped it would receive more updates and reach it's full potential, would have been easily the best city building game ever created. Sucks because last time I checked Simcity Build-it isn't really even a game and is a just a cash grab by EA. Part of me wishes EA would get back into developing this game and bringing it more features so it can reach it's full potential, but the other part of me likes it the way it is mainly due to the higher up's at EA not having the same passion of this game like Maxis did and of they did get into development, it would turn into a pay to win with more microtransactions than there are buildings in the city itself. All in all, I hope this game comes back to life through development, but am also scared of the outcome if EA developed it more.

  They have changed the textures to be more like Simcitiy 2. Most of the DirectX draw functions were updated too. Sad this game was not what even the developers planned. Eletronic Arts put the hands on it and ... you know the result.
