  No. I’d double check iPhone sound and volume is up as well as the van system. Maybe an issue with the sound cable.

  Thanks for the video! What I haven't been able to figure out is: what is the best outlet to plug this into or what outlets to avoid? I saw something about power strips and GFCI's in the setup screen, I'm assuming do not plug into those?

  There must be some way to replace the yellow map lights, isnt it? Can you help? I changed all the other lights from yellow light to 6000K cool white. Only map light is pending. Some lights being cool white and some being yellow looks really odd!

  I tried and you can get the cover off but the lights are integrated into a larger mother board so you would need to be able to solder the replacement.

  Hi I'm having the exact same problem right now. I'm going to buy a used monitor from eBay. How difficult was it to install yourself? I'm inexperienced with electronics repair and I'm wondering if I could do this myself.

  I think the hardest part is removing the plastics trim piece. Otherwise it’s just removing some screws, unplugging the monitor and plugging it in. I’m an accountant so really don’t have any electronics training and was able to work it out.

  Thanks for posting this. I have these parts and when I plug in an iPad or iPhone, I see the blue icon in the top right of the iPad/iPhone screen showing it’s connected to the Apple lightning/HDMI adapter but nothing shows up on the Sienna’s screen. Any idea why that wouldn’t show up?

  I get a black screen if the rear does not have power selected or the mode selected is not R - A/V (i.e. it is set to SD card, HDMI, DVD).

  The easiest and safest way to get the clear housing off the license plate light after you take off the black trim; I used a small hooked pick from a kit I got at harbor freight. Get under the clear plastic and over the foam gasket and slowly twist and it will separate pretty easy from the actual black housing of the light holder.

  😂 You do need all that or have that cable mess. All you need is the is the HDMI cable, the, a charging cord & the adapter. You don’t need the other 3 prong cable. Turn the audio source to rear on & change it to HDMI. Plug the HDMI cable in at the front of the console, plug the charging cable in, plug both charging cord and HDMI cable into adapter and plug adapter into phone. I do this all the time for my kids. The first time I did it, I discovered it mirrors the phone and the audio automatically plays thru the van speakers. My daughter will play games on my phone while driving and use the tv screen in the van to see the game on a bigger screen or stream Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, KZread, etc., etc., etc. What ever is in my phone or any phone that is plugged in will be mirrored.

  Be careful to anyone doing the license plate lights. I just did it and broke the housing. Go from the bottom and pull up gently.

  Are those lights at the end the main map center lights? I didn’t want to pull those out as our new led light kit we ordered did not come with them and those were the main area center lights we wanted to upgrade… nice video sir….👍👍👍

  Yes the last ones at the end are part of the map lights in the front in the module with the door openers. You can’t really replace those.

  I have not tested an android phone but I see the ADC website lists the cable as compatible for android devices. You will need an adapter to go from your phone (USB C, etc.) to HDMI.

  I ended up switching out the whole screen assembly with a used one from ebay. Figuring out the broken video card or specific part seemed too complex.

  Hi man,i just got my screen from ebay. I have questions,how did install bezel trim back to your car because I have hard way to install bezel back on my car..? Any help I really appreciate thank you

  @@islahislah2202 I reused the existing bezel after the new screen was put on because it was in better condition than the new one. There should be holes that the bezel pops into.

  My original bezel was broken when trying to remove.but i got bezel trim and screen when i bought from ebay. How did you install back your bezel to ceiling after you connect wire and screw...? Thank you

  Yeah I made sure that was in and also that a dvd was out of the player because it kept defaulting to it. Good news is that when I look at the iPhone mirror screen it shows the sienna device that looks like it is playing. Problem is that nothing is playing on the screen. Is there anything that I should be doing on the iPhone that is causing it not to play? Perhaps bluetooth etc. Hoping to get this working for a long road trip if possible.

  There shouldn't be anything else to do except select the R A/V and make sure the "power" button is active. That should then mirror whatever is showing on your phone and you've see the HDMI input in the top left side of the screen. Maybe there is an issue with either the HDMI-RCA adapter. Have you connected other RCA devices and been able to see the video? Is there any audio coming through?
