Spellbound Travels

Spellbound Travels

Hey friend! I'm Amy - I'm a full-time traveller and digital nomad. I work remotely while travelling (mostly solo) and exploring new parts of the world. I've been to 40 countries and don't plan on stopping anytime soon!

This channel is for anyone interested in solo travel tips, how to travel on a budget, life as a digital nomad (plus how to get started), as well as specific destination guides.

Feel free to follow me on Instagram and TikTok and check out my blog - www.spellboundtravels.com for in-depth travel info!

Cheers,
Amy xx

    Yep our thermostats are set considerably higher than Canadians. I always think I’m getting a bargain in BC because I forget the taxes are added after…slow learner😢.

    Nicaragua has more than 100 beaches better than SJDS as a natural beach, but it is the environment created by visitors, residents, and varieties of close places to visit that make the difference. Comparing SJDS with developed turistically places like Miami, Rio, and Cancun is like comparing apples with bananas.

    "Bob's your uncle" means something like et voila!, there you go, it's easy! etc. For example, someone might say "You just heat it up in the microwave for 45 secs and Bob's your uncle, it's done!" It possibly arose after a 19th C British PM named Robert Cecil (i.e. Bob) who appointed his nephew for a plum job, which was an unpopular act of nepotism. So, it's something Poms say too.

    I've heard so much about it normally being much more hours than they originally established but, isn't that reportable, can't you do something to make sure they keep the obligations they adverstised?

  • @spellboundtravels
    @spellboundtravels29 күн бұрын

    You can report it! I think sometimes people are scared to because they don't want to get a bad review from the organization or have to find somewhere else to go. It's definitely something that needs a little work so people don't find themselves in a position where the hours are different than what was initially agreed upon!
