SIX1NINE GUITARS AND GEAR
SIX1NINE GUITARS AND GEAR
Guitar and gear reviews with some how to videos, Vlogging and music. I have over 9 years of experience working live shows with sound, lighting and stage management. Goal of this channel is to bring a little bit of everything to the table when it comes to music and have a lot of fun in the process. When it comes to guitar i been playing for over 15 years although I’m no shredder i love chugging and playing sick riffs.

I have this same guitar. Been playing shows with it for over a decade! I get so many compliments on it.
Awesome dude!
10:38 yes you pro-Nouns-see-ated numbers and letters properly 🤣🤣
Got a headless a couple days ago and the action was way too high. This vid helped. Thanx man 🙏
Love your riffs
This is my thrid guitar shop owner brought it to out nowhere and instanly felt in love with it it has the perfect sound for grunge, hard rovk and metal
Honestly, I usually don’t like sparkle color guitars… But I’m digging that Purple sparkle 😃 I wouldn’t get skulls on any of my guitars, but I like the skulls on Hammett’s guitar because that’s what makes it unique and it’s factory 🙂
That guitar looks and sounds amazing! The person who got rid of it must have been crazy lol.
@@smokster24 yea that crazy guy def lost out but i heard he got some awesome to replace it
Are my eyes playing tricks on me? is this another person my age with my same guitar and art interests? that's a sick painting on that telecaster body dude!
Just got a T2.7fbb and was looking to do this Mod. Where can I get the pickgaurd?
@@mikeynon i made it. You can go to any kind of big box wood supply store like home depot or lowes i use thin laminated play wood little thinner then 1/4 inch
I won't buy a guitar with a zero fret. They don't last.
@@joeking433 what doesnt last ? Ive had zero issues with stainless steel zero frets waering out
How long did you let it cure before clear coating?
Interesting… an LP style hotrod in a 25.5” scale…. I’d love to try it… right now I use a Charvel Desolation, a hugely underrated guitar (24 3/4” scale) with a very unique neck join…
That color is sweet
I just bought a parts caster with this bridge on it and almost went cross eyed trying to figure it out. This was a great video and it showed everything I needed to know. Thanks.
EXACT same thing for me man this video is actually just very great!
The trad pro was my first it was an exact Copt of dave murrys gibson les paul traditional 2010, except he loaded a floyd r to his
This is the best crackle finish I've been able to find using spray cans. I really wanted to replicate this, fairly sure this is accurate: 1. Black: Rust-Oleum Flat Protetive Enamel Black (likely 7776830) 2. Neon Green: VHT Engine Enamel Grabber Green SP154 3. Crackle: Montana Crackle (probably the amazon one EC9017) I will try Gold+Black crackle and report back.
@@MauriceKindermann your on the right track.
Some other notes I made for myself: - This guitar was sprayed indoors in a t-shirt, so the temperuature was probably mild (ideal) - By only crackling the front, you’re less rushed and can focus on even coverage in different directions, getting a nice thick layer on before it starts chemically reacting - Interestingly you lay a very thick base coat, then let it dry 2 hours. Can recommends 45 minutes - I’ve seen other videos where heat guns or fans are used to speed up and increase cracking, I’ve also noticed sunlight seems to increase it, but that may be random or due to heat
That second guitar looks awesome I’d love to get my hands on one
Been really wanting to pick one of these Jem jrs up!
@@hellozach6476 do it !!
I had the 2019 purple sparkle ouija ltd. I could kick myself in the ass for selling it they going for 3k+ now but it was beautiful.
Nice guitars. I have the KH-V in black metallic sparkle, and the KH-3 (spider) in black., and an EC-1000 Deluce in black. I never should have let my EC401 go.
I normally don't do this but this video came up in my recommendation and love it, I hope you can make this as a career
Well thats super nice of you to say one day it would nice but i also love my career to !
The purple KH is absolutely 🔥🔥🔥
Bump
I would love the ec 1007 with a fixed bridge. preferably 26.5 inch and with the emg81/60 set. I have the ec 1007 et emg and I love it.
Would love to see a video on that EC for tones and such. What a beautiful score
Coming soon wanna get good time on it so i dont make any judgements in the honey moon phase
Fuck he came out about 200 percent better on this trade than you did lol
wow, amazing guitars, two for one, good deal, great look 😃
Or you can use a Ukulele Sting Swing (for 6-string .strandberg*).
Yea of you wanna buy one and not put your handy skills to work
I would absolutely dig it if you made a tutorial video on to do this paint job ⭐⭐
Go on my channel and watch the squier baritone videos there its basically the same process.

@@m3llowrush id say close to 7 pounds ish
@@SIX1NINEGUITARSANDGEAR dude thank you sm couldn't find this info anywhere
Any one know what size Ball bearings are used. I think it would be wise to have spares
Man, that purple paint on the Hammett 😮❤❤❤❤❤
Glad you love the new guitars I'm definitely digging the new mockingbird, can't wait to see the review videos. Thanks again brother!
😂 I bet you are, you got the way better end of that deal 😉
how heavy is yours/it?
Excellent vid dude! I'm gas'ing for one and I can't stop looking at videos about it XD I can't decide if I want this one or the purple one though. Purple's "my" color and I love the Pegasus/Sentient combo over the Fishmans but truth be told this one also just looks super sick with how the color scheme is.
I also have a kd design bridge. I've never had issues with it at all. If anything it's better than most. Cheers for the upload
Got one, nice guitar for money, replaced pickups, pots and play much better but bride tuning should have a different gear ratio, it's too sensitive, it's difficult to fine tune,
subbed
When you find out about The BDM/ Brandon Ellis after getting into Children of Bodom and Alexi Laiho (RIP)
...great Sound 🙂👍
My favourite guitar in my collection right now
Im thinking of buying this guitar. So I appreciate this video. Thank you.
Thank you for making this video! 🙏 I'm now a step closer to buying it
Thanks for doing this it's a huge help, the angle of the camera is great. I do appreciate thorough explanations, much better than insufficient, however if I have one critique it would be that you talked a LOT for example you said let's get to it but you had already talked for 3 minutes! I know you wanted to get some things in but just keep it tight! Also you explained a couple things twice as if you weren't sure we got it the first time. Once again this was very helpful I hope you don't mind my suggestions.
Thid was from my first year of youtube i don’t make scripts i shoot from the hip. Im lucky I’m even able to out sentences together lol . Thanks for the kind words.
Hey - What string gauge and tuning you use?
I’ve been looking at this particular guitar on Amazon, wondering if they’ve fixed the string tensioner issue yet. Good review and your riffs are totally enjoyable.
Damn, this is gonna be a sick build bro! Hopefully you can get some nice b-roll shots of this thing in some more natural lighting when it's finished, so we can really see that metallic sparkle! \m/ I'm sure we're all expecting some planet-heavy riffs inspired by the finish in that demo track! Keep up the good work!
This is so cool! I'm a pro player and also done about 300 acrylic pours with various techniques. I've thought about doing this, and it's nice to see your project turned out so well. Look forward to seeing the completion.
You’re not crazy. What you detailed should have definitely been listed by the seller. If the seller says condition is subjective, then why hide details? He should be able to say the guitar is in excellent condition with an obvious paint fix and a stripped out neck screw if condition is truly subjective.
Looks Cool!
