Sylvia With A Plan

WELCOME to my channel! Get lost in my world of traveler’s notebooks, papers, pens, tutorials, hauls, books (the written word in general)

and organized planning all in the pursuit of finding a healthy balanced in life. I am a soul searcher. The word “wright” means to build. I have

chosen the name Wrightyourlife, so I will always remember that with every decision I make, and everyone that I don't, I am in a constant

state of writing and building my life. I could never have imagined that I would further my education after college by watching tutorials on

KZread. My hopes for this channel are to do the same for others looking to grow and wright their own lives. Interested? Don't forget to

A6 is a standard size in Europe and most of our paper's quite good. So no wonder these haven't taken off here. But I'll admit, I like their style and who am I to say no to more stationary?😂

@@SylviaWithAPlan it’s really such a simple concept, and it’s like we just never thought about it. lol. But, my mind is racing. I recently bought the Pen + Gear monthly planners from WM. Each little pocket size book has a page per day facing a lined page. I use the mini composition books behind it in my TN, for a perpetual calendar and for affirmations. I could get a dot grid to carry with my month, and turn it sideways for plenty of room for an annual calendar, tracking, notes, etc…in one book (and eliminate the mini composition books)! I’ve cut down lined notebooks to fit different sized covers, but never thought about dot grid or graph paper, cut down and turned to the side. My mind is racing with ideas!!

I’m using these since May. I love that it opens to full a5 page because I can’t fit anything into a6. It fits into women’s jeans pocket! - most of the time… depending on the jeans 😅 It’s really nice quality. No wear and tear and I’m tossing it around all the time. I forgot to mention that I add a closure band on it, because it was driving me crazy that it didn’t have any.

We had same bag from Anello way back 2022. Unfortunately, few months from the date I purchased I noticed some parts from of my leather bag faded and removed despite providing extra care for my bag. I would suggest to invest Polyester or Nilon instead.

The standard size seems to be designed around fitting an A4 size piece of paper folded in thirds (according to midori's marketing). Along with fitting other typical travel documents like tickets/brochures/maps/spare money.

If there's some aspect of your handwriting that you don't like, practice. I didn't like my capital S. So I saw one I liked and practiced for like 2 sheets of paper and now I get compliments on my signature. I sincerely doubt a factory would order A4 sheets to manifacture these inserts. Company's are way too greedy to allow for waste. I think they order paper in customized format so there's no waste at all. The small difference in price may just be because the passport inserts are more desired than the standard.

A lot of times cost to make an item big or small is just the material cost. If that material cost is not that much different the price difference might not reflect it. Also they might of started off making the bigger products, and have the equipment for the bigger product. The smaller product might require either a new machine or the need to calibrate and set the machine to do differently. That takes time off the runtime for the more popular product. Another reason is artificially inflate the smaller size price to make it more appealing to buy the larger size. Sort of like when you "buy in bulk" you get the item cheaper for a lot of things. If you look up the price for Midori's 3 year diary, 5 year diary and 10 year diary. You will see that the cost of the difference is not triple double based on the year and amount of paper. It is easier to compare that, as it is the same size, everything same, just more pages.
