I love to build cool stuff from junk. Many of the materials I use come from the Alleys in my neighborhood, estate sales, and garage sales. I repurpose, reuse, restore, and refinish the broken and old into the useful, amazing, and different. If you are looking for some great "upcycling" ideas, this is the place for you.

hello, can you tell me the manufacturer of the grout or do you make it yourself?
thanks !, have you ever seen an old boomerang film that shows a champion boomerang thrower throwing like 10 in a row ...... it was a film is black and white , must have been in the 50s early 60s, the boomerangs were similer to the red one you have, only they were 3" inches wide and probably 27 inches from the tips.
What’s the smallest compressor I can use for light work? I have an already sanded 32 caliber WW1 pistol. I just need to evenly rough it before I Manganese & Phosphoric dip it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
This is how you become enemies with your neighbors.
Flawed. Recipe does not work. Applied on 92-degree day.
That's awesome work Grandma said some of those windows would look beautiful in the store it would give the effect that we have outside lighting and windows we would just need to back lite them
We really enjoyed that and appreciate you and your hard awesome work Thank you from Mary Jo and Bob

Whoa happy memory accessed ❤
YEAH BUT , DO YOU HAVE ANY GOOD USES FOR PVC PIPE?
When it rains, the sodium from the salt will drain over to your grass and kill/sicken it permanently also. 😆 Use a roofing torch instead and burn the weeds... the heat will kill the roots also.
Tom just an awesome repair man 👊
Ummm, can you come to Atlanta, GEORGIA? I’m 3 minutes from the airport 🥴🫣

We have one of these lights, no instructions, it worked a few years ago, but was put away in a shed. i have tried leaving it all day in the sun to charge the battery, but i cant get it working. Any ideas, i have thiught about replsving yhe battery bug can not figure out how to change it. Anh help would be appreciated.
Unless you can easily get to the battery it is probably sealed in and cannot be replaced easily. Probably better to get a new one.
That's what I do❤❤❤❤
Gold rings need to be very close to the coil.. like 5mm to be picked up. Nails and steel you get about 15cm to play with
Boric acid is toxic to pets and people. Do not use where children and pets can come in contact with it.
Tom you have to be beyond proud of yourself! The work you do is amazing. I so wish I had the skill and patience to restore furniture, (or a husband) who could do it!🤣😂🤣
Thanks Donna. Have a great Memorial Day weekend.
I do beleieve if you worked with it differently then there could have been varying levels of quality finishes from those different methods, but what I do not beleive at all is that these products will ever come anywhere close to knowing how to stain and simply staining and using top coat of choice. I really dont like grain sealed wood a lot of the time, though if one goes to 500 grit and cuts poly in half with mineral spirits, doing several coats, you can get an extremely clear shiney epoxy look that looks really good without stain. If I am working with oil stain I like to fully remove anything that hides grain patterns. Stain shouldnt be paint, it should go on in a way where it changes the color of the wood without hiding the grian pattern, to me... and I do beleive if you hide the grian pattern you are now painting the wood. I tried polyshades recently, and just like every other stain and poly combo I have been dumb enough to try, I realized its just not good enough for my standards.
my friends porch steps are rotting so I have offered to replace them at a minimal cost since Im a beginner carpenter
Thank you.
I think if the underfill is just under the edges it may crack due its weight from the middle
...and environmentaly responsable! Congrats!
About $60 now...
This is something I want to do for life
I used in the last week just regular white vinegar you can pick up at Walmart or any store to find out if it works. It works well and it CHEAP. You may need to reapply in some areas, but not a big deal. A gallon of white vinegar is about $3.50.
One other thing, apply in hot sun weather for best results. If it is going to rain don't apply.
This man truly tries so hard. He should have more subscribers
I agree!
Love your Junk in my Trunk sequels, but admittedly hoping for Austin Powers 4 even more.😊
i agree too!
Update on the pool paint, It's now May 2024, the birdbath with the pool paint is holding up great, I store it inside over the winter, I just gave it a good cleaning and there is no flaking, peeling or break down of the paint. It's going to the cat rescue shelter today to be set up in front of the shelter main room for the cats to watch. I would say the primer and pool paint as I noted in one of my earlier posts is the way to go. ☺
Thanks for the great idea and follow up. I'll have to re-do mine as it didn't last but 1-2 years. I'll have to use your method.
@@AlleyPicked Glad I could help
I see I forgot to add an update about the Flex Seal, It lasted a year then lifted from the metal surface, cracked and allowed water underneath it which pretty much finished it off. So not a long term solution.
The voles are destroying my landscape. I bought 20 mouse traps and using peanut butter. Placing a bucket over the little hole they dug and no catch. I will see if I trap one but if not I will make one of these.
Thanks for your honest review. Can you test the Acmer P3, it looks great. wecreat vision and acmer p3 how should i choose.
Thank you for information. Very helpful!!
Love it! Great job and so attractive on the deck!
A trick for colour. Mix some portand and make a really watery liquid. Add some black top soil and paint it over the patch when it has just setup.
one coat is a joke, and "gloss" is hilarious, it's neither, but the worst part is if there is a drip or puddle, it never seems to dry and loves to stick to anything that has ever been coated with the same poly even weeks later, resulting in a ruined piece of work, f that sh.. garbage
Who freaking cares?!!!!! Roundup should NEVER be an option. Wouldn’t follow anyone who uses Roundup
Ok that looks good....but ut didnt savevthe grass...we need to be aware....THANKYOU
Has anyone applied this vinegar method to their tiles roofs?
Just got into woodworking and I'm looking for projects to attempt down the road. Love your content!
Thanks! You will find lots of fun projects both large and small.
Round up is not working at all.its waste of money .I have had bad experience with that
That one ant s a giga Chad 0
The fire usually kills them either that or the chore boy usually filters them out
Ty. Just needed to see how yall attached the sink basin to vanity. I use the plumbers putty and almost never overtighten. Also, take the p trap off and drop into a bucket before you pull sink and you dont have to pour the entire sink while holding it up... just mentioning it. Thanks again! ❤
