This tournament was wild. Imagine Trefilov being the best option in goal for Russia, and Joseph for Canada over Brodeur.

I want to find an ABC-televised Ohio State game with Broyles's commentary so I can hear him say "Oh-High State" again for the first time in 46 years. LOL

Can someone give me #48 for Nebraska's name and current address? I'd like to send him a bouquet for knocking that ball out of Billy Sim's arms at end of game. Helped Alabama get a chance to play #1 Penn State in New Orleans, which with a 14-7 win gave us Natty #10. Had OU won we'd have been playing a consolation bowl game.

Boy do I miss the old structure of college football. Once the BCS started it made the Bowls and the conference championships less important.

I see all the comments about this game, but the best player was Jacques Plante. A great display of goaltending by the man who wrote the book on goaltending.

I would love to find the 68 OU game where Freddie Steinark was better. I'd also like to find the 1970 Cotton Bowl. It was televised, so there should be a copy out there somewhere. Oh, and thanks for posting this one.
