What's sad is Denver was so much better than so many teams that year. They landed in the Super Bowl. They just weren't anywhere near as good as San Francisco. XXIV: 49ers 55 Denver 10 That was the final and was also the score with about 14 minutes to play in the game. The 49ers just ran the game out in the 4th quarter. What an eye opening wipe out this super bowl was that year in New Orleans. The worst one maybe ever unless you lived in northern California.
