  Just found this video, late to the party, i know. I'm 47 and i just kinda learned this trick, BUT i'm so inconsistent. I'm really struggeling with the scoop motion. This tutorial was really good, and i'm gonna try to remember these tips. To clearify, i've gotten some good ones up a bank, and few really bad ones on flat. Great video mate, hope you're still skating and having fun with it. I'm back from a 25 year hiatus and i'm having the time of my life :)

  i dunno but fucking awesome/toy machine skateboards feel heavy to me and break really easily like i broke my board in 2 weeks whilst i usually use decks for like 4 months maybe this is personal but ye any similar experiences?

  I used to have them consistent but idk what happened now I toedrag every try I can’t stop it something is seriously wrong I don’t understand at all it doesn’t make any sense my back foot always barely lands on the board

  I got a pair of Adidas skate shoes and they started falling apart very quickly. I never got a chance to actually skate them but the tred wore out fast and a hole formed that rocks got stuck in. I was highly disappointed.

  Are you really gonna sit there and act like you actually felt a difference between Bones and Independent/Other Bushings? 🤣🤣🤣 All they technically have is a type of Monopoly... "They've got a Sharper Turn"... what does that even mean in THIS type context? Lol Btw, its all jokes at the end of the day, dont take it personally 🤣🤙... But you gotta admit that when it comes to All Quality Brand Bushings, they will ALL be technically the same. Just different Abec Numbers and "styles" of usage like for dirt, "waterproofing" etc

  The venture criticism is silly. You dont have to take the truck apart. Just use a wrench or pliers to hold the nut still and a screw driver to unscrew on the topside of the deck.

  If my driveway wasnt a highway and if i had a garden id definitely practice alot more but the skatepark is like 5km away and i dont wanna go there myself or ask my dad+ im kinda anxious and depressed but i wanna start skateboarding more i can do dirty kickflips now but i wanna get better and try other things

  Trying tricks without being able to land them is absolutely NOT a waste of time. when I could only Ollie and shuv. I spent all my time trying to learn how to flip a kick flip heel flip varial kickflip, varial heel. Backside flips and big spins and 360 pops shuvs and I couldn’t land it but I had the flips down but couldn’t commit. I met this kid who was sponsored and he saw me attempt kickflips told me to keep my shoulders straight and I landed 3 kickflips in a row just from that one tip, then I tried a heel flip it went behind me I stayed straight and I got it on lock. I tried to land a varial kick flip landed it bolts. Then I tried a fake big spin got it within a few tries and I skated all night and got backside flips and varial heel flips and 360 shuvs I didn’t go home until I got all of them that day. I went to school telling everyone and they thought I was lying because I couldn’t kick flip before but they didn’t see all the hours and days and months of me trying my hardest to learn how things worked. Don’t just stick to Ollie’s and pops shuvs go for the heel flips and kickflips or treflips because all that experience might stack one day and you could be the best skater in your school overnight.

  Adidas is my go to for skate shoes, they feel better and last longer than Nike sb imo not that those are bad either. I just ordered a pair of cons pros so I’m gonna see if those suck and I got a few element decks on the way.
