I love how he panics when Cheryl says she’s finding new things out about him.

Remember earlier in the episode Jeff was telling Larry about all of his kinks made public by his girlfriend during the break up. I don’t think Larry was as much afraid of being an “ass man” as he was about it possibly getting leaked some day along with any other fetishes he didn’t want known. So nobody would have any sort of embarrassing info on him. Anyways I’m just watching this show now for the first time. Loved this scene so much I had to look it up. “Scrounging around looking for asses” was too much 😂

It's interesting to compare this with the Larry David character (himself) in later seasons. Here, he's playing more serious and aggrieved in a human way with his tone and facial expressions. In later seasons, he seemed to be playing every offensive comment and conduct the same way, with a kind of self-indulgent smile on his face. I didn't follow the series that much, but this scene really calls attention to how much he turned the character into a flagrant a&&hole over time and always seemed to be smug and indulgent about his social transgressions.

How they are not on their knees howling with laughter is beyond comprehension. 4 or 5 of the best lines of the entire series packed into one scene. Piss my pants every time I come back to this gem.

Larry is a deviant
He repeats a lot of Seinfeld gags.
