    I'm 60 years old. I have rode bikes most of my life. I'm not a "biker" but I rode mini bikes as a kid in the 60's to a harley sportster. I'm just a casual rider. Today I'm looking for a street legal toy .Thanks for your time and sharing your opinion, it is appreciated.

    I wish I had a long term test to share on them, but unfortunately my buddy was hit by a truck on this bike. He's relatively OK but the bike is totaled. After the install of the clutch he rode a few thousand miles with no issues. I am typically a fan of OEM clutches or EBC

    This is my favorite place to ride. It's run really well, even when it's busy you get plenty of ride time because of the 2 tracks and how they run the classes. Some people are griping about $50, but it's well worth it. Real estate and labor are both so expensive down here, if it takes $50 to make it worth while for the owner then I'm happy to pay it, especially for a place this well run. Anyone who rode that property when it was Thundercross will appreciate immediately how much work and money the new owners put in, and how well it turned out.

    The SV650 was the first brand new bike I ever bought. Bought the original in 1999, owned it until 2005 when I traded it in for the SV1000S. Thought the engine of the SV1000 was great, it just didn’t have the charm that the 650 did. I traded in the SV for GSXR1000 and then a Hayabusa. However, recently I find myself still missing the SV650. Started watching videos about newest ones, like yours, and am really close to pulling the trigger and having one again, as a second bike. They are just so much fun.

    Sometimes nostalgia gets the better of us and we buy things that we shouldn't. In the case of rebuying a loved motorcycle or one that has special meaning- yes, absolutely do it. I sold a 2003 Z1000 7 years ago and I regretted it immensely. If you've seen some of my more recent videos, you will see I rebought the same one. I'll never let it go now. The manufactures sure do not think about being able to work these things these days. They want you take it to the dealership so they can break the bank for a not too expensive part to be replaced. • @alexdombi-weridetwo
    @alexdombi-weridetwo15 күн бұрын

    Good questions. I was running the z with stock gearing and based on other videos with it, it looks like at 60mph it was about 8500 rpm. I don't have any clips showing the Grom at 60mph nor do I have access to one at the moment, so I can't say. Doing what you say about +1 front sprocket and -1 on the rear will absolutely give you higher top end, but with such small amounts of power I feel doing that will not add enough top end to counteract the loss on the bottom end.

    Village has the best night racing in North Texas. Saturday nights are a lot of fun and a lot of people show up. You can see the entire track from anywhere you are viewing it from. We park on the backside and sit in the bed of the truck and hoot and holler at all the racers we know. They also have the MiniX series, which is amazing for young new riders to get to race on one of the best pit bike/mini tracks I've ever seen. It even has start gates, lights and a tower. The main track is also cool. It is one of the few tracks in Texas that actually has elevation change with true step ups and true step downs. But, it has kind of gone downhill the last couple of years. However, they just gave it a make over in June, so it's better now. It is also the only track I've ever been to where you can see a downtown skyline from the track (Fort Worth). That's how close it is to the city. The only thing I don't like about Village is that it is Port a potty only; which is not cool for the ladies.

    Nice video mate, thanks. I'm new to the DFW area but Village is on my list of nearby tracks to try out. And yeah, organised practises often mean limited riding time as they try to keep it safe for everybody - it used to annoy me but ultimately, tracks where they care that much about the people who ride them tend to be better run, maintained and now I get it, and appreciate that. But definitely a factor if you are travelling more than an hour to get there...... Gonna go check out your Underground vid now, thx man !
