New Yorker Juhui

New Yorker Juhui

I share my travel experiences around the world to help you plan your trips and inspire you to travel.

For a decade, I worked in media and advertisement as a video editor/producer in NYC. Now, I am on a long journey of making a film and telling a story that I can be proud of. In the meantime, I get to pursue my passion of traveling and storytelling on KZread, thanks to you.

When I am not traveling around the world, I love going to restaurants in NYC and indulging in diverse cuisine. I am a Korean New Yorker, and my husband is also a New Yorker and a Ukrainian American. Needless to say, we love and value learning other cultures.

I post frequently on Instagram and have a small online shop called Nov. links are below 👇🏼

    Thank you for this video! I spent seven days now in May 2024 and i can't wait to go back. It was as beautiful as i imagined, but also so much more! I stayed close to Fira but not in the center itself and moved around using the local bus system, which worked great for me as a solo traveler. If possible, I recommend to visit Santorini on the so called shoulder months, like May, September and October. Weather is still great, even nicer cause its not sooooo warm, things are still open but the amount of turists drastically reduces.

    Schwartz's is great, no doubt, but it's cursed by its own popularity. It can take hours to get a seat during the summer so I suggest going to Snowdon Deli. It's a little bit out of the way, but after you visit, you can check out St Joseph's nearby. The Cote des Neige neighbourhood is also great to explore as well.

    Just listened less than 3,5 minutes and heard your friend at least twice taking Gods name in vain. :-((( You hit your thumb with the hammer, and you would never would use your mothers name instead ( it got a norm not even thinking of it) using the holy Gods name as a filth word, who gave you a mother and everything what you have in life. That's called blasphemy! Just use Buda's / Allah's ect. name instead of OMG. Of course you would not do it. What a pity for this seams to very interesting video.

    Why didnt you go via taxi. ? Is it too expensive? Can you please make a video on how to travel from rome to florence to venice?. Other than public transport as we have younger kids with us and we will have luggage too.

  • @NewYorkerJuhui
    @NewYorkerJuhuiАй бұрын

    Sure, I’ll put together a video about that! We took the train, because it was fast and convenient. But if you have the budget to take a cab, that would be even more convenient. But remember: cars are not allowed once you arrive in Venice. If you have a lot of luggage, make sure to book a hotel that’s conveniently located.

    Very helpful video. One question: why didn't you get the free transport card at the hotel? I've read it includes the trip to/from the airport, also that you are supposed to get a message from the hotel 3 days before your trip with the link. The website for this card says that if you book through a site like booking, you should get it from there. I am going to test it in two weeks and see if they send me the card.

    That’s why it’s called “Monkey Island” I don’t get it you go to see Monkeys then you warn people how evil they are, you need to rethink that one, yes their wild and their hungry, if it was that easy for one of the workers to take back the Lady’s bag by simply lifting it that was too funny, people are so stupidly scared, we are so separated from nature this is what happens you let the Monkey take your stuff without a fight!

    Thank you for sharing! Your video conviced my partner and I to book a trip to Curacao next month! How long was the entire course? How much time did you have underwater? We want to book something similar and are comparing how much time each dive shop has underwater. Thank you!

  • @NewYorkerJuhui
    @NewYorkerJuhuiАй бұрын

    I am so excited for you! The entire course was about 2 hours, and I believe we spent about 40 minutes in the water practicing skills and scuba-diving. Depending on the students, I think they allow more or less time underwater. I highly recommend the Goby Divers at the Marriott, especially if this is your very first time trying scuba-diving. The instructors were great. Shore diving was a more convenient and safer option. Overall, I had a really good experience :) Anyways, have a great vacation in Curacao and enjoy everything it has to offer!
