If the repeat is from the London region then it's most likely to be from 13 April 1982. But that wasn't a networked broadcast, so if the recording was made elsewhere then that date won't apply. That year, Thames Television repeated almost three-quarters of the series (38 out of 52 episodes), in the mornings, during the weeks that they weren't showing programmes for schools around Easter, Whitsun and the summer break.
@80sandretrogubbins2516 күн бұрын

@simonc878516 күн бұрын
I'm drawing a blank with Yorkshire. I can find repeat dates for ATV, Anglia and Granada around this kind of time, but YTV are eluding me at the moment. One odd thing about these repeats is that the episodes don't seem to have generally been shown in the original sequence. "Low Tide" had originally followed "Geraniums", as is clear on screen here, but in these repeats it generally followed "Pink Poppies" with "Geraniums" appearing a little further down the line.
@80sandretrogubbins2516 күн бұрын
@@simonc8785 I can add that Thames repeated these in the 9.25 slot in the summer of 1980. What I did notice is that at least this episode and possibly the other one, went straight into adverts after the HTV endcap. I don't know if that could reveal anything about the region, though the ads were not taped anyway.
@simonc878516 күн бұрын
@@80sandretrogubbins25 Yes, Thames repeated episodes in the early morning in the summers of 1978, 1979 and 1980. The repeats in 1979 and 1980 were all from the final series, 9 episodes in each case with some duplication, and some from that series not shown during either run. "Low Tide" comes from series 1 or series 2, depending on how you number them. The first 13 episodes seem to have been made in a single production block but were shown in two runs, so you might say there were 5 series consisting of 7, 6, 13, 13 and 13 episodes, or 4 series each of 13 episodes.
