Yum! Looks like a great breakfast. Nice to know they give a Passholder discount. Some Portofino restaurants don’t, like Sals.

Sapphire falls I think has the best breakfast buffet.

We really liked the Aventura food court, some great options and thought the Wok Bowl was really good, and huge. Did me for 2 days! We didn’t like the pool, but Sapphire is just across the parking lot! We had the deluxe room which was fabulous! It had a rounded wall of floor to ceiling windows across entire wall. And lots of room.

That is where we are staying for HHN this year. We use the pool at Adventura but it is smaller. We like were the hot tub is located and usually not a lot of people at it. The deluxe room sounds really nice might try to upgrade to it. We like being able to pool hop from Adventura and using the other resorts pools.

Wow, can’t wait to try Portofino CL! Looks fabulous. We stayed CL at Royal Pacific last summer and loved it, but Portofino looks like it has more selections and lounge is huge. We did love the smaller, more intimate Royal Pacific lounge though. Lots of long tables, so you meet other families which is fun. We became friends with a family in England and have kept in touch! It seems at Portofino you don’t get that interaction as tables are all separate.

We need to try the club level at Royal Pacific. We really enjoy all of the food selections at that resort. The room we had when we stayed at the resort was nice also. Love all of the greenery at Royal Pacific.

Have you gotten a timeline on when scaffolding will be down in the Harbour? 🙏 we arrive at Universal on 8/15, but not Portofino till 8/22!

They are painting the westside rooms, the beach pool is open minimal disturbance. Hill side is open and looks good. They have bypassed the villa pool area and are working on the wedding pavilion area. No disturbance at the villa pool.

I've commented before and remained glued to your updates! I'm booked at both the Portofino and Hard Rock (Hard Rock had an extreme discount for only 2 weeks which I grabbed) ...waiting until the end of September to make a decision...I'd prefer the Portofino IF the construction is completely out of the Harbor area...Again, thanks for your weekly updates!!

Don’t those ground patios on East Wing have chairs and a table? Maybe haven’t gotten around to replacing it yet. Looks great! Can’t wait till all the screens are gone in the harbour! We arrive mid August! Lack of shade in the Harbour never bothered me, we don’t sit there mid day, we’re at the pool. Only sit in the Harbour during the evening to watch the singers.

We just came back from a stay on the east wing with garden view. A great stay but I will mention that the garden behind the east wing had some construction/people working on it. It didn’t bother us on the third floor. Thank you so much for continuing to feature Portofino.

Happy that you had a good stay. I think they are still moving equipment around that area to the clock tower at the front of the resort.
