murat Onrr It is not paint. It is enamel. Made of grains of colored glass. You buy it commercially. You use heat to melt it and make it stick to the metal. Then you grind it and polish it.

Geen de granulen hebben een dermate zacht smeltpunt dat de verhitting die je gebruikt bij het solderen van een pioen genoeg is. Vandaar dat hij het metaal roze/rood verhitte.

It's called Black Pitch. We don't use black pitch anymore, in fact, Rio Grande sells Red Pitch which is much more safe and less toxic then the black pitch used in this video. Black pitch is what they used to use in ANCIENT times.

It is a bowl of wax that softens when it is heated and hardens when cooled. So it fils the gaps and the object is secured, when the force of the tool deforms or forms the shape.
